Wrong! The BANK owns the house 😢, they are slaves for the next 20-30 years, miss a few payments and they end up in a homeless shelter.
I totally understand that the bank technically owns the home, however it is now their asset to hold onto, fix up to make it their own and maybe in a few years sell it and make some money on it. Real Estate is the best wealth builder there is normal 4-6% appreciation year over year and sometimes even more than that. Unless something catastrophic happens home owners will be just fine.
