Mission Flight - June 29, 2022
This was the last mission flight of the day after flying a mission trip from Melbourne, FL to the Bahamas to deliver much needed Bibles, supplies and food to a church located in Freeport. During this flight, I was tasked to pick up a fellow Missionary Pilot and transport him from Sanford, FL to Melbourne, FL. I am flying a Diamond DA-40-180 airplane. Blessings...

My version of a counter flow wort chiller
Просмотров 6275 лет назад
Tim White on RUclips gave me some inspiration to create my own version of a counter flow wort chiller. I'm a home brewer and needed a way to cool down the wort prior to pitching the yeast. Thanks to this new chiller I put together, I'm now switching over from bottling to kegs. HUGE shout out to Tim White for helping to inspire the creation of my version of the counter flow wort chiller. Thank y...

Going Around! Diamond DA-20
Просмотров 1009 лет назад
Made this video to help other single engine pilots. One my 1st attempt (in video), winds were 320 at 18kts. It took me 4 tries before I landed. I didn't put the plane down until I knew for sure I had the landing under control. Remember, if you don't feel comfortable, ALWAYS go around! Cheers and good luck to all my fellow pilots!

This flight is dedicated to my dear friend Tommie Longest. I thought of you a lot during this flight. Just in the short time I knew you, you had a huge impact on me...always laughing, always in a good mood...fun to ride wit, and such a totally genuine guy. All your family and friends will miss you my friend. See you again one day.

Less volume on the music. Or no music at all.

I checked your channel looks like you are livin good. Cheers! I threw on Pink Floyd “learning to fly” while I type this quick question. Does your chiller work? Looks like the unit is a total of ten feet long. The tubing was cut into 4 , two and a half foot sections. Is that enough length to exchange the heat? Does your ice hold up or did you start running tap water through it to strip off the initial heat before you dump in the ice to strip it down to pitch temp? Any response would be appreciated! Thanks again.
