It is true though! You can’t let yourself get discouraged and give up. The skill ceiling in this game is higher than every other gears of war game so you have to learn and put what you learn into gameplay. Against every single skill level you have to find improvement.

@@Zerviam it’s actually about to come to an end for the character/skins arc. It might not be noticeable but whenever I would play with skins my frames would drop to 80fps occasionally and I would get a lot of skipping.

@@repeater95 My Video settings are all low/off EXCEPT for character texture detail and character level of detail. Those two settings are set to medium. My texture streaming is the only ULTRA setting. The only “Advanced settings” I have ON are tiled resources and Async compute.

@@richicr3510 Not professionally the professional gears esports ended back in 2022, there’s amateur tournaments that happen from time to time. Typically what you’ll see with those is old pro players coming and dominating them. Right now though, Mexico is having a great run for sure they usually have more going on than USA.

Gave him the little mouse flicky juke, that move can really mess with a lot of people as on their screen it’s just too fast to predict where you’re going.

Even though I lose all the time against them I’m happy about my performance and from what I’ve learned while watching them play. They’re good guys too so losing to them is an honor.

Dude it happens all too often, but it is what it is and accepting that it’s apart of the matchmaking makes it less frustrating when it happens.

@@IIxSEEKxII match making is broken. I’ve been in many games where the teams were vastly uneven. Makes some people not want to play when they are getting run over. Probably too late at this point. Is what it is.

@@jondorris8359 well ever since I was a wee lad, I’ve been playing mouse and keyboard. One game that has greatly improved my dexterity with Mnk is a game called world of Warcraft, that game has a billion button combinations so it requires a ton of practice with fingers. Growing up with the gears of war franchise on controller allowed me to understand the fundamentals of the game on a basic level. Switching to Mnk back in 2021 I already had 15 years of experience with gears of war. So to give you a straight forward answer, I picked up and mastered mouse and keyboard within 3 months of playing with the input.

@@IIxSEEKxII gotcha. Never played M&K. Probably won’t start, but there is a marketed advantage if one was to learn it.

@@jondorris8359 one hundred percent, one of the biggest being the tracking with every single gun. If you practice you just can’t miss and you leave every single enemy on the map red or slightly red because of the insane poke. Though the biggest reason for me switching was that controller would hurt my fingers and hands after playing for about an hour or two. I can play gears of war for hours now and not have any severe issues with my hands.
