In a world of absolute garbage acts that are successful because of huge marketing & money behind them Stephen Fretwell restores your faith in music. An amazing songwriter of epic proportions..first two albums are just sublime I saw him in Cardiff promoting his latest album & he was just brilliant.

There's a deep soulfulness and maturity in these new recordings. I briefly knew Stephen in Manchester back in the early days. He was an inspiration. Glad he's back, although saddened by the sacrifice. I wish him the best.
