@MacDaddyShane316 She deals higher Ice damage yes. If you have OB 10 Cloud weapon, he should be better for B30 fight. OB 6 Yuffie depends if you have very good matk materias and Subs. Pretty risky.

You could try Red with his Lightning Imperil + matk down debuff weapons. Then use Anyone with Lightning weapons as dps. For briny, anyone with lowest hp is targeted, so would have them wear Water Resist Weapons + mdef to survive while your dps brings down bar to lessen Tidal Wave dmg.

@Marzellus1991 you'll need mdef and fire resist. To include mdef all guild weapon. Plus good healing. Some players also have the pdef all to survive the Dive of Bahamut. Pretty much this fight is for veteran players or whales.

@SSJ_07 If you deal a lot of damage and get him to Red health, he doesn't do recharge. Same as Crash version. Still beatable even if it regens. Since it loses a lot of defenses and does Sigil phases.

@tonyvu7246 you can do the normal way to beat it. Using Water imperil and water damage.

@Marzellus1991 Easier with Barrett since he has AoE MATK down and a weapon that imperils both Fire and Water resist. Then use Cloud.

@A.Edlacir yeah was surprised, thought gonna be Ex skill rotation. Easier than expected.

I went physical attack build with Fira materia(Magic) to just keep the Bar not getting full. This way Shiva won't do the 1 hit kill diamond dust and Heavenly strike in beginning. After that you can tank and use her Sigil phase to get damage done with fire to lower bar. Then you can use your powerful weapon skills during her chill phase. Easier if you just use Magic Fire and Fire imperil. I'm just challenging the floors without using weapons corresponding to its weakness. So no need to copy a build not meant for it.

@nikokis Its equivalent to Ex 3 I think, lower than crash. Regular way of doing the fight is with Sigil boosters and Earth damagers. I'm just doing it weird since for me it's easier with to experiment now with the power creeps. If this were Crash, yeah, I would go for a regular Earth team like past Crash battle.

I didn't bring the right team. If you have Magic Earth team plus Sigils, it'll be easier. Was challenging the tower without using the appropriate weapons

@tiffanyt9329 You'll need Wind damage, O Sigil, and Mdef Up to team. Would recommend going to Discord and provide what available gears you have. There are F2P players there who have defeated this Past boss with limited OB weapons.

@@akinamori1615 the problem with shiva ex battles is that they can't be autoed unlike some other ex battles, so it's very hard to clear for those who aren't day 1 nerds

@namesurname7442 If you require a guide, refer to Past videos pertaining to the Boss you're trying to defeat. The Tower's bosses are the same bosses the game already released. They are equivalent to Very Hard and Ex stage. For this Shiva fight for example, this is a less or equivalent version of the Shiva Summon Ex stage. That's why I didn't need to make it as guide since a lot of guides for these specific bosses are already out.

Hello, just to understand how it work, what u mean with "original" ? , in the video u said that using the C ability Gale strike u hit the same and not 1.6 Million. Just to make an examble, the C ability of the weapon have 800% wind damage, during intterrupt it apply the 60% so the base damage is 800 x 1.6 = 1280% wind damage, that's how it is?

​@Jack-z8o2b It is additive. Example: Your no buff and no debuff damage of your Ability is 100k. 60% of that is 60k. Even if you buff Seph and debuff boss and increase your damage, the 60k won't change. Since it's from the Original damage. On my case. If I'm dealing 300k+ wind damage Originally, add 60% to that will be 480k(300k + 180k). From the 300k: +50%(mid pdef debuff+high imperil) = 150k +21%(Rage debuff) = 63k +30%(Wind Potency) =90k +50%(5 stack PATK buff from U.W.) =150k 480k+150k+63k+90k+150k= 933,000 damage. In the vid above for example, I lost wind Potency, losing around 90k damage, so the damage of 850k+ is normal.

They all based on your Original damage.

Sephs Interrupt Mastery only adds minute increase damage, so that's that. Still useful for tight situations.

What exactly is the interrupt?

@ArikadoX Thats not in the Description of the Ultimate Weapon. The Weapon Ability deals 2k% and offers buffs. The R ability of the Ultimate Weapon "Only" States Interrupt Mastery Which is 60% Ability Potency. Generalized. Didn't say use U.C. during Sigil Break. Which means, when Interrupting, it should boost "ALL" your damage by 60% during the Interruption. Thus submitted a ticket to clarify what's going on. Coz the R ability matches any other R ability not for U.C. during Interrupt. So I'm showing it doesn't work based on its Description as any other Ability Boost R ability.

If the U.C. is supposed to be used during Sigil Break and/or only the U.C. is affected by the Interrupt Mastery, that needs to be stated there and not be Generalized. It should say U.C. Ability Potency 60% and not just Ability Potency. Which if it's generalized means it's both C. and U.C. Ability Potency affected. Which matches the current Brands.

​​​ ok but the video does not show anything, the npc was only once interrupted during the sigil phase and u one shooted it.U had to use the ability of the military sword during interruption and then compare damage numbers since u were spaming that before sigil phase.

@wokeaf1337 I had 2 videos(other 2 not uploaded). One was beginning phase(No rage debuff, No Interrupt) and it deals same damage as above. I should be doing almost 1.6m damage with no Wind Potency While Interrupt Mastery is going during its Rage phase. And almost 2m+ damage with Wind Potency.

The Wind Potency multiplies Wind damage by 1.35 while Ability Potency by 1.6. So I should be doing more damage even with No Wind Potency. Since the boss has double debuffs(it's own debuff to itself while enrage, and Aeriths debuff of mid pdef + High imperil).

Curious if it's a bug because if its UC only and they misworded it, then i hope they "buff" the weapon as a result instead of "nerfing" it cause the weapon would be prettty trash if it was UC only. one thing i noticed tho, it could be because you are one shotting the boss, maybe it's not registering that it's in sigil phase because it's already dead in their code etc. It's more than likely a bug ofc, but just something i thought i'd mention.

​@akinamori1615 j dint believe sigil break counts as. I believe it probably has to do with status effect. A unit being in a stunned status or a stop status (when we get it). It stands to reason that sigil break should be an interrupted phase too, seeing as it literally says interrupted once the break happens. Just a thought. Try it on shiva, or gallonballoir, or iron giant. Something that can get stunned during the fight, and see If there's any correlation

​@@Nankama94 Yeah, they have to clarify if Ability Potency is for everything or is it supposed to be U.C. Ability Potency. To include what Interrupt is. Coz there's lots of ways to interpret it. 1. Sigil Break Interrupt their stream phase. 2. Stunning them 3. Depleting their Bar and gets stunned Etc.

@WhiskeyGump. The Arcana is Fire Weak. It's Magic Skill is lightning. So you can bring MATK down, Mdef buff, and Lightning resist for your team. If you did not yet, Brand all your weapons equipped on your characters.

@wokeaf1337 Its use is for 1k damage and debuffing both patk/matk high. Can be used in tight situation were u have to debuff twice, and your debuffer doesn't have atb. Hopefully he will get better Ultimate Weapon, like Sephs.

@@akinamori1615 In tight situation or battles u go with a char that can spam a limit break to remove max patk/matk in addition to a normal debuff ability. Clouds ultima makes no sense to me, the same as Glenn and Barret.

You don't use it for the damage. Its there for the stats, r.abilities (20 points is a lot), and the extra stats from branding. Plus some utility in a tight spot.

@@7Minish My criticism goes towards the ability, not the stats.

Those purchasable ultis are all crap just for stat sticks outside of maybe matts though aerith would heal more at the moment. Im sure there will be many ultis for each character like Seph that are on their own draw unlike ffdoo where there was only one ulti per character.

@octavionievesthe3rd with the new weapons and enhancements, youll be able to do this, especially if you get the Ultimate Weapon of Cloud at least OB 6.

On the Long Sigil Phase, keep interrupting with Limit Break whenever you can the skill it does. The more skill it does without delaying it, the higher it's water potency will be. So you'll die before Sigil phase ends.
