Before you buy Beef Jerky......Watch this!!! Delicious EASY Homemade Beef Jerky
If you know how to pack it’s a hell of a lot more than a day pack for the you should use a haversack
Quite possibly the worst hammock on the market. I tried one and gave it away. An eleven foot or longer and double wide is the way to go for a comfortable hang. I’m speaking from experience. Do not purchase this hammock. Do lots of research before you purchase a hammock.
I just admire how the gentleman in Britain 🇬🇧 are always sharing knowledge. I absolutely respect that . Thank you guys !
Hello is anyone here? Is this channel still active? Hello?
I greatly appreciate your detailed review of this rucksack. How do you think those plastic buckles will hold up? I
Thank you for the review! Are the tree strap’s included? Or did you buy those separately?
Nicely done sir!
Now I've just bought one of these ,the same as yours, spent an hour so far here on RUclips trying to suss out how to set up ,and you are the first person to show where the shot cord actually goes through for the bug net .. thank you cause a few guys were slating this hammock because the net kept falling in their faces ..I've already purchased it and I knew they were wrong , so glad I found your wee video here .. subscribed now mate .. well done you 👏
Ta for the comment, hope it serves you well, cheap and simple, I love it
This is my everyday rucksack, used to be for school, now for work, I've had it for like 5 years and it's perfect.
5:30 actually starts talking about the roll.

who makes the original if at all nowadays?
Not sure, if you found one you could count yourself very lucky.
how volume of rucksack liter?
About 25 ltrs
Nice tools Andy, cool stuff!!
Thanks, its a fun and cheap hobby
Things are abit more normal now I think 🤔
Yes, a lot of folks are jetting away more, so its nice and quiet again
I had added a comment about your video. I have purchase the German army mountain rucksack made by MFH, and I noticed that like your pack, mine too has the two-pronged male buckle. I have never used that kind of buckle, so I’m not at all sure how well that type would hold up. And I just got to wondering how well the buckles on yours have been holding up?
Mine is still going strong
Does it have an inner pocket to slide a pad against your back
Yup, I put a 6x8 folded tarp in there, a strong one with a reflective inner
Hello, I watched your video a few times trying to place that pack. I think that it’s ether the MFH German mountain rucksack, or the MIL-TEC mountain rucksack. Is it the MFH by any chance? I’ve been looking into getting one, and your video might have helped me in making that decision. One last question, if you still have your pack, how well is it holding up? Thank You for making your video on the pack.
MFH, still going strong
I have an original that I purchased 15 yrs ago for $20, and just ordered an MFH (Max Fuchs Co. Germany) from Military 1st in Manchester GB, in Flecktarn camo and it should be here any day now. I've purchased about a half dozen packs and THIS is the most comfortable and versatile.
Great review. I just ordered one myself. I like the way you calmly present. Thanks mate.
Glad I could help
Instead of letting the strap ends "hang Loose" you can adjust the length so you can roll it up inside the Buckle for a snag free solution.
His pack looks just like mine/ Its a Brandit. Its a German Company but the pack is made in China. It doesn't mean its a bad Bag its just inferior to the German army issue or other repro Alpine bag. I applied a Ceramic Hydrophobic Protection spray tp the entire pack. Now water ROLLS off the canvas material.
nicely done sir
Thank you kindly
Could you please tell me the name of the tool you used to gouge your design out?
edge beveler, gouger, found in most leather kits, cheap but very useful
nice one!!!! i cant find one where ever i look they dont got one........do you know where to geht a good one in the year 2021????
I googled it, plenty places still do em, 30-40 quid
Thumbs up 👍
Thanks 👍
God video Andy, thanks for posting it. As you're alluding to, most people in the bushcraft community do follow the ethos and ethics of #LeaveNoTrace however we also need to consider the optics of what we're doing, and use our knowledge, skills, and experience to help and encourage other people - some who may be new to enjoying outdoor environments - to reduce their impact on the environments that we love. My only criticism of the video is that you drink tea..... make it COFFEE!!!! ;-)
HAHA, I do like my coffe too^^ , but yes, all of us will be seen as representing 'all of us' , wether we like it or not, so always being mindful is important.
Thanks for posting the vid. Do you know what material is used to make this? Thanks
Mainly Nylon
High likely that the internal graduation marking come off if you steel wool the inside to clean?
Not found that to be a problem personally.
So cool. I’m getting back into this. I got bro bushcraft a few yeas back. Had a stroke last year so getting strong enough to get back at it.
More power too you
I think so many drinks is if you have to add water purification tabs the mix will help with the taste
You can stuff itself by stuffing it into the main central pocket.
yup
Thank you sir 👍
Thanks for watching
If you want more subs start reviews sooner than 5 minutes.
Thanks for watching
New subscriber here, after watching your video I've ordered a covacure hammock and covacure sleeping bag along with a tarp ☺ they arrive tomorrow so I will be testing tomorrow night and I can't wait 😀 👍 first time hammock camping so I hope its great, also I have an inflatable mat to go in the sleeping bag 😁
Hope it works out for you, enjoy
Don't quit your day job ya boring twat
i Share your thoughts 💪🏼👍🏻 greetings from Germany
Thankyou sir
Thanks for the vid Andy! What is that anorak you are wearing in the vid?
If I remember, its a pull over anorak from Military 1st, fleece lined, light weight but a hany bit of kit.
It was a great idea. Thank you for this movie
Thankyou
I love my LK35 but really haven't used it much for the last few years. Lately I have noticed that the prices (same with the Polish Lavvu) have shot up in price to the point of silly. I got my LK35 and my complete size 2 Lavvu for $35 CAD each a few years ago but I am now seeing prices well north of $150 CAD for each. Shipping is often extra and not cheap but if one can find these for a good price, well worth it.
Yea, as things become popular in a hobby thats what happens, I'm looking for an orig German mountain day sack, very rare now and prices going up silly.
Is that the cotton or Cordura bag? How is it holding up?
Its the cotton reproduction one, and holding up fine thankyou.
Hi Andy. Thank you for sharing. I don't have as many tools as you but still find great satisfation in working with leather. Hope you are well and staying safe. ATB as ever. Nigel
Thanks Nigel, its certainly a many faceted and interesting hobby.

Hi Andy good to see you on RUclips. You are lucky you are near such great nature. I miss being near the Countryside. Would you ever do Foraging ? What I mean is I saw a channel where the guy actually picked leaves that he used for coffee and it’s supposed to be so healthy?
I do indeed, wild garlic, dandylions nettles and pine needle teas, fungi I tend to steer clear of unless its for tinder purposes, foraging is great
Just got my hammock today the bug net seems way to big not sure what I’m doing wrong it was hanging down and touching me all over any tips would be appreciated.
Did you string the elastic shock cord, it holds it up
I have the original isssue dated 2003 and was planning to use it as my hand carry bag for my overseas trips but as we know covid 19 had other plans so it remains in storage till the day. If you have a thing for mil-surp, the Swiss Army Issue M84 canteen and cup fits perfectly on the side pouches.
As I said above, I would just prefer it to be an original, as I feel its is a bit tougher.
Hi Andy, I have owned this pack for about 10 years now, it has been a great pack
Nice, if its an original, I am jealous, thats the only thing I can say, I would like and original one.
I've got a swandry wool bush shirt excellent tackle
A one off handmade bit of kit this, love it so much
