What is the practical Coverage achieved per 25 kg bag ? And do you need to keep 1 or 2 mm spacers for 8 x 4 tile or 6 x 4 tile ?
1.2 Kg per m2 per mm of thickness, 25 Kg bag will cover 45 Sft for 5mm thickness
Minimum 2 to 3mm is recommended

You do not need adhesive to tile its on floor by moving. It forward a bit it takes out any air bubbles and sticks to tile..you have air bubbles in adhesive ..you can see them in the ridges...not enough on floor..contractor here...put work boots on ..be a professional at your job..
Cement needs curing and and due to shrinkage de bonding and hollow sound, needs right adhesive for strong bonding, let's try once share your details let's try one sample 😉
When laying ceramic tile ..leave 1/4 inch from wall and wipe off of wall before dry..also you have air bubbles in adhesive because you do not have enough in mixture in certain spots so there fore not sticking and you need a flat trowel to wipe away from tile to put next one down so you leave room for grout..you push down a move forward lightly to stick to floor ..wipe away extra...and wear shoes ..not bare feet...wipe any off where mud should not be..do job right 1st time..
For ceramic tiles you will have absorption.
