I'm trying to understand TJump's position here. At 11:00 and there abouts, Tjump seems to concede he has no position past 'anti-jimbob'. Within his moral framework this is probably justifiable, unless lying imposes his will somehow onto jimbob or the viewers. In this same vain if emotions, whatever they may be, is the only reason anyone does anything (13:50ish) how can 'will' exist? If the moral framework is anything that doesn't impose a will onto another is a moral good, that implies a will. How can you justify a will if all actions are based on the whims of emotion at any given time? Even if you shore that up, wouldn't that also imply that physics and the effects of gravity (immoral according to the non-consent thing and according to TJump) also have emotions and/or a will? I wondering how an impersonal 'field' can have a will. If 'field's can have a will then the moral 'field' has a will. On it's face this seems absurd but perhaps TJump knows that which is why he didn't understand the question about how that moral framework would require this moral 'field' to be immoral. Morality imposing it's will on us without our consent. Maybe in light of the thread at 11:00ish it doesn't matter because it isn't a position held by TJump just any way to be anti-jimbob in this moment.

I love this argument. The ugly part of the TAG for an atheist is that it pre-claims "truth" and "objectivity" as something divinely certified and you have to argue your way out of that position without logic OR adopt a purely internal critique, in which case you're not allowed to question any aspect of ANY God the interlocutor finds advantageous to cite. This argument has a similar property, because Christians must leave their worldview and enter yours to accept offering the black swan on the basis of evidence OR lose access to everything BUT deduction (because claiming composition fallacies break most inductive arguments and presuppositional arguments are a form of induction, so it's not a category error they can lightly break). What's truly hilarious about that last property is that you can literally make that point from an internal critique, CITING GODS DIVINE REVELATION THAT INDUCTION IS VALID AS ITS DEFEATER! I can't stop chuckling at how effed up that is. Anyways, I think P2 of you argument is more important than you give it credit for. Examine the possibility space on P2: Either it is TRUE: The world exists and the argument is a valid inductive argument. Or FALSE: The world does not exist and the inductive argument does not hold, nor would ANY argument hold in that world INCLUDING presuppositional arguments! If the theist challenges P2, they're not only throwing out the Malak, they're throwing out the TAG. I don't think they'd like to do that and just like before, you can even make that argument as an internal critique pointing out that either special divine revelation has certified P2 to the theist, or it doesn't exist. I'm not a logician, but I suspect you could go harder there. You could even say, "The world exists and is such that accepted standard logical arguments preserve truth" and I think youi'd still be safe, and you'd FURTHER bait them into challenging P2 and FURTHER dismiss their own argument.

"I'm not convinced" is the most common response I've heard from atheists, or something along these lines, which a response of "I see no evidence" ultimately entails. So, the apologists often bring forward an array of different explanations and examples that they think will satisfy their onus of justification (a.k.a., burden of proof), after making some assumptions about what evidence an atheist is expecting. I find that theists who ask what the evidentiary expectations are tend to be more interesting to converse with because they're usually interested in having a meaningful conversation. Dude is so hung on the "explains" issue. He doesnt understand that its a short hand phrase. If a parachute has a hole in it and we say that explains everything, then to subsequently say it explains nothing is to say "when X is the explanation for everything, then there is no way to diifferentiate or understand how or why one instance obtains over another." If a parahute having a hole in it is the explanation for how I fell down the stair and for how johnny was murdered, then we've gotten nowhere.
