Pastor Austin, I just wanted to share I just turned back to this sermon tonight as a reminder to myself and guidance for my nighttime prayers. My heart has been troubled - your words at the end of your teaching moved me last week and moved me again tonight. I am a law student and struggling with some health maladies. I am so grateful for CCYA, your teachings and your dad's teachings of the Lord. A Peace that Surpasses Understanding. That is what I find in His word as shared at Cornerstone. <3

JEHOVAH GOD is more than just that title that you all try to label him under; He is the MOST HIGH ALMIGHTY SOVEREIGN GOD. We should be cautious about placing His name in such low regard, as He has revealed Himself to us as the Only LIVING ALMIGHTY God who created everything. And we should acknowledge him, respect and praise his Sacred Divine Name just as he instructed us in HIS inspired scriptures.

The meaning of the name Jehovah. This name came from combining J H V H, as there are no consonants in the ancient written Hebrew, with the vowels contained in the Greek word Adonai, which is translated lord, and is sometimes applied to pagan gods, but also to the True God YHWH. Yes, the form thought to be more accurate is YHWH. From which comes the modern name Yahweh. It is commonly thought and taught that this name comes from the Hebrew verb meaning “to be” and thereby the name Jehovah or YHWH is often said to mean “the self existing one” “ This assumption that Yahweh is derived from the verb “to be,” is not accurate. “To be” in the Hebrew of the Old Testament is not hāwāh, but hāyāh; “The derivation of Yahweh from hāwāh ( ‎יהוה from ‎ ‎הוּה ) is formally unimpeachable, and is confirmed by many recent scholars, who proceed, however, from the primary sense of the root rather than from the specific meaning of the nouns. The name is accordingly interpreted, He (who) falls (baetyl, βαίτυλος, meteorite); or causes (rain or lightning) to fall (storm god); or casts down (his foes, by his thunderbolts). The root hāwāh is represented in Hebrew by the nouns hōwāh (Ezek., Isa. xlvii. 11) and hawwāh (Ps., Prov., Job) “disaster, calamity, ruin.”[20] The primary meaning is probably “sink down, fall,” in which sense-common in Arabic-the verb appears in Job xxxvii. 6 (of snow falling to earth). Obviously no one knows the meaning of the name Yahweh or Jehovah ! It does not come from the verb to be, nor would God call himself a ruiner, or one who causes disaster or calamity to fall . As it would evidently mean, if it’s source was the verb hawah. Or the noun howah. Those who truly know him, Know Him Very Much Otherwise! It is satan who fell, and is the ruiner, the author disaster and calamity, being the original murderer and liar! We are told in Genesis 4 26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD. YHWH So what does the Tetragrammaton , YHWH in Roman letters, or ‎יְהֹוָה in Hebrew letters really mean? There are differing opinions, and it is up for dispute, but why is it not crystal clear with no dispute? Why would God have a name that is not distinctly and without question understood? Could it be as, with most of the Bible, that this knowledge is hidden from the wicked? Moses was very familiar with the name of God. But why did he ask, “whom shall I say sent me”, when he spoke with God and received his assignment to Speak to Pharaoh? And God’s reply was “I will be which I will be”. So what do these four Hebrew letters YHWH really mean??? None of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. And you will find me, when you seek for me with all your heart.

Alahim - alef-lamed-hay-yod-mem: root: ALAH, H426. This is not a NAME, it's a pronoun. Yahuah - yod-hay-uau-hay (four vowels), H3068, the personal Name of our Creator, expunged by translators' own admission in their Prefaces. Yahuah told us His Name 6,823 times in the TaNaK, just look at an interlinear translation of YashaYahu ("Isaiah") 42:8 for the proof.

Does the Sovereign Lord ever reject Israel when they repent and return? Marriage is Almighty God's covenant, reflecting Christ Jesus and His church. Does the Bride of Christ (the church) lose its stature and worthiness of Christ Jesus's love? Unconditional love has no qualifying degrees. When the prodigal son repented, did he forfeit his sonship? The proof is that in the Old Testament, adulterers were stoned, not divorced. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband (But if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife. Clearly, spouses do not lose their marital status. If the wife must be reconciled, then the husband must accept her as the wife..
