Sonic Robo Blast 2: Mario in Pipe Towers Speedrun (00:46:28)
Want to get back into Srb2 speedrunning so I wanted to a simple run. But my perfectionist brain couldn't let this be a simple one. I just had to optimize it as best I could in less than an hour. Most characters I'm probably going to play are going to stay small so Adventure Sonic, Ray, and Mario Bros will probably the only ones I run with for now.

I am not touching this stage until the next big release cause holy FUCK I hate speedrunning this stage. So much can go wrong with annoying enemy placements, very cramped areas, and just overall mean level design. Wanted to do a quick run and it turned into another long night of attempts. But hey another record for the time being. Just more breakdance optimizations and thats it. Probably will wait for Noises Halloween bash before Ill do another run.

You might notice that I slip up more in this run compared to my other runs. This is because I hate Bloodsauce. This level has too much going on for me to even try doing a run I feel satified with. Several drops have enemies before then making breakdancing very hard because hitsun doesn't buffer your moves so it can just eat inputs sometimes. Been a little burned out from that constant speedrunning so I had to take a break. I was gonna do Ancient Cheese but I wanted to warm myself up first. As to why I chose Dragons Lair I don't have an answer to that.

Breakdance is insane. Incase you dont know I try to not use instaturns in my runs because Im simply not good at timing those things. So I usually opt to just use breakdance to instaturn instead.

I know I mostly do Srb2 Speedruns but Im still a very big Pizza Tower fan outside of that. Very glad on how this one turned out. You have to manage a lot when trying to speedrun these levels its insane.

Was debating if I should post this but im still quite proud of how well I did considering this guys speed and the zones cramped nature. I had some small slipups, but it was only small time losses. I really wanted to play safe near the end cause this run had almost 200 attempts. Might do more with this guy but Im lazy so I dont know if I will.

Been playing a lot of Pizza Time Spice Runners recently and this stage plus takis was begging to be blasted through. The mods that were loaded were Takis' 02/24/24 NS build and Pizza Time Single Maps. No momentum mods were used in this video.
