Enjoying Nature with birds
Birds are not only beautiful to look at, their songs, behaviors and interaction with their environment are fascinating. They are also very important indicator species, pollinators among other critical roles they play. Birds travel across continents are disperse seeds and are therefore one of nature’s best ecosystem restorers. Titus Imboma cannot imagine spending a day without birds, he believes caring for birds is caring for the universe. Watch this video as he takes us through a birding session at the National Museums of Kenya.

His name is Mark Nicholson not Mark Anderson. You should correct the caption. He deserves proper recognition for what he has done! Congratulations to all involved in the restoration of the indigenous forest !
Judith has been an inspirational soul with her utmost love for birds, while we were both interns at Nature Uganda during our Bachelors program in Environmental Science; Judith took the opportunity to mentor me in bird identification and also introduced me to birding excursions. Today i am truly indebted to her for this gesture and continue to wish her the best in her project.
I'm so happy to get to learn about permaculture through this platform. Its basically everything I want to practice in my farm and life. I would like to know and learn more.
Greetings Simon, Permaculture isn't a new lifestyle to us as Africans. Our ancestors used to live a sustainable lifestyle. We are just bringing it back and adding modern technology in it. It's simple to start, start where you live by growing something, a fruit, a tree, a herb or some salad. Start by recycling your waste, use less water etc. That will motivate you to keep going. If you need help with a bigger piece of land then I'd be glad to help. Reach me on Facebook Thiong'o Wa Gachie and follow my work.
