IVE GOT A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS IVE GOT A BAD FEELING ABOUT
Eddie is a real OG!
The realest
Eddie is such a cool dude, and I cannot give him enough thanks for building Taking Back Sunday into the guys they are today. Much love to the man who is responsible for my favorite band!
What a band. Eddie absolutely rules.
bless Limewire 🙏
Bro I went to see them 2 days ago it was fun and lol
Fenway show was 🔥🔥🔥
I did it all for the nookie and now i got 3 kids ...
Checks out
A very good listen. Nevermind Fred 😉 Lots of great tunes and ideas.
Thanks!
The first time I ever jammed with other people musically was with Ohio is for lovers, after dreaming about it, it literally being the only thing I wanted. This is age 12, 20 years ago. It was the first time I experienced an involuntary smile. I still chase that experience
I enjoyed the interview with Sonny. Always like hearing his perspective on music and life. Just the nicest dude. 👊🏼🤙🏼
Glad you dug it and appreciated you for listening! Sonny remains one of the most genuine people in all of music. 🫡
Had both and God I wish I still had them they were stacked
Totally stacked!
I was checking out some stuff on the 90’s and early 2000’s music on RUclips and saw a clip on Ozzfest and remembered Iann Robinson! So I had to see what happened to him, when I was a teenager, I used to check out bands from the band shirts he was wearing😊. I always thought he was more of a metalhead like myself , shocked he’s more punk Rock. I never knew he was fired from MTV. I thought he was working longer than 3 years .i used to be so happy whenever he was on cuz he was one of us haha. Surprised on a lot of stuff he said but not shocked about MTV’s biased business . Also I know he said lots of pop artists are industry plants but so were the rockers too (RATM🤮) . I really miss this dude , hope all is well but would love to see him somewhere on a show✌🏼✊🏻🤘🏼
One of the best song . Losing my religion
The story behind Ohio Is For Lovers is hilarious
Right? The video for that is also on our RUclips page. JT is awesome
Damn I didn't realize Shannon drummed on Straight up! It's wild to find out some of my favorite drumming is Shannon, first finding out Glassjaw worship & tribute now this too! Wow!
Thank you for checking out the interview clips! Shannon was a great interview - he’s got stories for days
Some of the coolest, most creative and unique drumming!!!!
Totally agree. Shannon was one of our favorite guests ever too!
I LOVE the song “Ohio Is For Lovers” though! It’s one of my fav songs and the first song I heard when I was a kid in middle school when it was first released on tv. I’m GLAD they wrote the song and played it. ^.^
This is one of the coolest 8 min of video ever on GJ lore. Shannon killed it on W&T. What a legendary album. Glassjaw forever.
I love that! One of their best songs❤
Agreed!
I'm so glad I found this, there is a Reddit thread a couple years ago that pops up when people like me sporadically google the band's whereabouts, and a commenter mentioned this interview exists. I knew they weren't active because I stopped searching many years ago, but I'm glad this interview exists so that I can resolve all the nostalgia I have for the time when they were active, the soundtrack to my angsty youth in 2004-2008. Bookmarking to listen soon!
Let us know what you think! This was an early interview for us, and one we really enjoyed doing.
@@Podioslave excellent interview, that was very insightful
🙌🙌🙏🙏
I legit just got here from that same thread lmao
I think those awful bands should do the right thing and leave because they're terrible, but leave The Home Team so we can get an actual Home Team tour. They should be the obvious headliner
I love the album. Still have it on cassette. Lots of great songs, though I never liked Black Hole Sun much. There is much sadness in general on the album.
Good stuff!
Thanks! Appreciate the support - here and on socials!
HEAVYHEX rules!
Great conversation!
I love you PNut~before you answered the first question…my intuition said “Their Longevity is Due to the Positive Message, period” You and your bandmates are the shizzzzznit (NOT to mentionyour beautiful wife whom I’ve had the pleasure to speak with over Kids Yoga and also shares such positivity into our humanity through her own dharma…Gnarly Dudes & Dudette~Namaste all day, errrryday #timeisprecious #dontdwell #suncomethrough ~CrisTina Grace 🙏🏻🤍🎶🫶🏻
At the time I write this there are 311 subscribers to this channel. Also, what happened? You guys are talking as if it's 2021 but it says this was uploaded 2 months ago (03/2024).
We released this in 2021, before linking the RSS feed to our RUclips page was a thing.
bro that album i had to ask for an uncle to bring from the US to mexcico city, they didnt even sold it here back in ´98 Cause i saw Ground video but honsestly till this day thats not my fav song but man when i heard ken 2012 or 33 it was like a dream come true really! like this guys are doiung everything i was related to like reggae trip hop everything, it took me about 15 years to meet another friend who knew about hed pe it was like a treasure for me same as Stuck Mojo. If you where fucking with Rap and Metal Hed PE was everything i could ask for psychedelic funky trippy craziest guys , very unique sound. Plus i started as metal Dj in ´99 so there was very fiew bands i could hear from and get inspired
1st for a long time
✊🏾
Vietnow, into Revolver you forgot to mention. Revolver is their most underrated song, and Down Rodeo is like top 3 Rage
Very true. Down Rodeo is so good
@@Podioslave YEAH IM ROLLIN DOWN RODEO WITH A SHOTGUN! (Sidenote: Self Titled is my favorite from Rage and Freedom is my favorite song by them)
I was there !!!!! ❤❤❤
We out here
Was 15 when Smash came out, born and raised in SoCal. been a fan ever since. My brother had the Smash Cd so I just kept borrowing from him until I copied it eventually. I discovered them from mtv, radio, word of mouth combination.
"PromoSM"
I've always said it and I'll die on a hill saying it...The Used debut self titled album is one of the greatest debut albums of all time. The sound, the songs, the energy, the angst, all of it. It is up there with Appetite for Destruction, Definitely Maybe, and Hybrid Theory. Front to back, every song hits!
Great call. Everything about it is next level!
Hell yess
This is a great insightful interview guys!! i started seeing them all over OC IE & Hollywood couple of years before the self titled came out. Cool to hear Chad's point of view of the days of early HED days! The EP Church of Realities is a must if you like the self titled. I know understand why he moved on from the band. Respect to him!
Chad was awesome - we had such a blast talking with him about the old HED days. Thanks for checking it out!
My 3rd CD ever after Nevermind and RATM 😎
Second for me. Counting Crows, Smash, Dookie
Greatest album ever made. I disagree about Ticks & Leeches though. It's a good song, but I feel it disrupts the flow of the album somewhat. The rest is pretty close to perfect. The production and mix are immaculate. Even after more than 2 decades I still keep finding new details.
I listened to it again last night in headphones. It never ceases to amaze
@@Podioslave Never. It hasn't aged a day.
Also.....headphones for TOOL....always!👍
