Policy Development Guide: State Budget Priorities

When developing a budget at the state level, lawmakers must make tough decisions on what programs should receive funding. As of today, NEFB does not have a lot of policy that helps prioritize what initiatives should receive funding and what should not. For FY2024-25 Nebraska will spend close to $5.5 billion for agency operations, state aid to individuals, state aid to local governments, and con...

The lookup tool doesn't work for tax year 2023
I have listened to this now 2 times a year apart. And it seems everything is subjective and useless if you cant evaluate cattle by eye or by management of useful forage. I have talked to one person that was in charge of evaluating feedlot data on registered angus and they couldn't tell the difference from a 130 YW and a 160 YW Expectation. The packers have pushed finished weights to maximize profits for the packers not the feed lots that are taking the risk. The only fix is to quit importing beef from outside of the US, and focus on domestically raised beef. That would require us to stop selling our grain at a cheaper price to ship it across seas and feed our own grain to the beef we then import back to the US, they are screwing our farmers and the government is subsidizing the idiocy.
Let them my property tax bill to schools alone would make a machine payment
I purchased this product and it doesn't work and they won't give refunds. Super bad service
If we could only trust the court system and ordinary people could afford it.
Yeah, farmers and ranchers have the right to poison the water ways like when they killed almost 100 people in Milwaukee WI with cryptosporidium and nothing happened to them.
Thank you
Very informative. Thnx for uploading this content!
We appreciate our farmers and ranchers, but there's another group that deserves property tax relief even more...those of us who are retired, living on fixed incomes, who've worked all of our lives, and are now being taxed out of our homes.
imagine voting for the guy who thought litter boxes were being put in schools for kids because they are furries LOL
All of these 3 letter agencies are criminals. EPA, ATF, BLM, FBI, DOJ, ETC.... Enemies of freedom, enemies of law, enemies of the people.
thank you
They need to cut spending too.
Very nice, thanks for this video....
Look at Lauran I know her
Celebrate all you want guys, it's only a matter of time where one resident sues your farmers for bacteria infested water, or the lack of water in their streams.
I met her at Millard Days Parade today, marched with her, my dad, & 73 Kathleen Kauth supporters including me & showed her my appreciation & how much I love her and how much I love what she stands for by giving her a hug & she hugged me back! She asked me if I wanted to pass out candy & I told her, “I’ll just carry a sign and wave.” She gave everyone marching a free white t-shirt with “KATHLEEN KAUTH” in red letters above “LEGISLATURE” in blue letters paid for with her campaign money & then we all ate lunch with her at The Corner Kick! Kathleen Kauth is my Senator! In addition to representing District 31 in the partisan (not bi-partisan and not non-partisan) Nebraska Unicameral, Senator Kathleen Kauth is a strong woman of God, an American patriot, & she’s born-again just like me! My second-favorite memory besides meeting Senator Kathleen Kauth today and giving her 1 appreciation hug before we started marching in the Millard Days Parade & then giving her 2 more appreciation hugs at The Corner Kick was a family letting her pick up and hold their children. GOP politicians are so nice. While I was with my dad, Tony Vargas walked right past me. I overheard Tony Vargas (District 6) and Kathleen Kauth (District 31) having a nice and friendly and diplomatic conversation.
Big brother must be stopped!
What a scummy person.
Right to Repair
Bill Gates is not the farmer's friend. He is buying up American farmland at a record pace - including Nebraska.
This Republican Nazi is a "conflict mediator" and goes on the attack against transgender youth whom are already struggling as it is. Way to go, Fascist!

Good video guys

Curious...i heard that the food we eat today ...is Last years crop...and what we have to get next year is this years planting...and harvest,,,i also heard alot of lost crop and low planting for this year...along with high price ferta...and desiel fuel...and some farms just can,t plant enough because of it...i think will see the shortages Next Winter...SO..Buy and stock up NOW..!!!
Thankfully I'm a person that has stocked up on many things for 40 years so all my vegetable canned goods canned ham tuna Chicken salmon have at least a 2024 expiration date some of it up to 2026 people should have started preparing more and March of 2020 when covid hit with all the shutdowns in United States and other countries
I disagree with this man..Farmers are warning us, truckers are warning us, politicians are warning us. There will be shortages and what's available will be very expensive in late 2022 and 2023
The experts said inflation was transitory when the average person knew it wasn’t. I agree “some” food will be available will it be your favorite brand probably not, will you be able to afford it? Probably not. Buy food on that goes on sale, grow your garden and stock your pantry, hard times are coming.
I have been stocking up for 40 plus years I have enough canned vegetables Tuna Chicken pork beef salmon small canned hams most of it dated 2024 up to 2026 paper products feminine hygiene all these shortages started in March of 2020 when United States and other foreign countries shut down due to covid that's when people should have started stocking up when the prices were low I have plenty of meat I only purchase markdown meat and anything else marked down at the grocery store unfortunately I'm not a person that cans anymore so I will be reliant on my freezer continuing to work
Boy I thank God for America. Love this country.
Don’t believe him!! He is wrong! Stock up!
A shortage throughout the world raises prices every where we live in a global marketplace
The beginning of the Long Emergency
I don't believe this crap!!! I believe all of us see the empty shelves at the grocery stores, we aren't idiots!!!
Food insecurities are quickly becoming a reality everywhere
Thank You For Sharing 🇺🇲
Buy grape seed oil instead of vegetable oil, eat cheaper food shop at the local farms , buy a bunch of flouer and stuff to bake your own bread , eat buckwheat it is packed with vitamins . Get a powder milk now before it goes up in price . There are many cheap things we can eat . You do not need to eat meat every day ! Shop at the discounted stored and buy stuff only when it is on sale.
Grow your own food. Fast. Don't waste food and everything else. Don't watch the rubbish news. Keep sane.
we will be hit by food shortages due to russia since we get the majority of our fertilizers from there and DEF as well
Food shortages due to the corrupt corporations trying to kill us. Fixing all this and destroying these corporations that are putting poison is our food is what is causing the shortages. Jay, a lot of people are aware of what is going on. We do research and we don’t use google, Fakebook or this tube. Corporations days are numbered. Trumpwon2020!
There’s more to food besides wheat this guy is clueless the farmers around me are not buying fertilizer even to make hay it’s 34 dollars for a 50 pound bag of 17-17-17 that 200 percent from last year
My niece in-laws father is a farmer he bought his fertilizer last year for this planning season before prices went up
@@debbieframpton3857 the price was still up and it’s 35 bucks for a 50 pound bags and I see it going higher
@@bw6538 , I don't know my niece in law father said he locked into a lower rate last year for this year's fertilizer that's all I know when I talked to him
@@debbieframpton3857 we get potassium and potash from other countries one of them is Russia we only make ammonia nitrate
@@bw6538 , I don't know what kind of fertilizer he uses all he told me was he locked into prices last year at a lower rate
He's right. There probably won't be a shortage. Food will just be so expensive that most won't be able to afford it
Jaren Varmer, You are wrong there will be a food shortage and it will be very expensive when you find whatever you can get.
If most can't afford the food then naturally it will go down in price to the point where people can afford it . Merchabts don't like to see their food products go bad because people can't afford them. There will be many weekly sales because of that . Just buy more things when they are on sale
@@LanaUSA212 Not this time. It's intentional.
@@LanaUSA212 they thru away a lot allredy
@@arneedlund8512 , Walmart Kroger Schnucks Aldi's in my area donate to food pantries meat produce and baked goods that they can't sell
My worries are that that present people occupying the white house will send more than an abundance of the harvest to Europe..like they are doing with disel..
Predict more wheat planted here..? With what fertilizer? And with what type of fuel will the tractors be using?? Because diesel will be so expensive that even if wheat became more readily available the price would be too great. The man you interviewed is saying the same things MSM spews about it. There is far more tangible evidence that food shortages will be great here in the US as well.
Be prepared..stock up .. at the very least you will be able to supplement fresh food buys for a very long time if none of this materializes..and would help with inflation on food prices ..Evan if there is still food in the stores ALL indications are that inflation is going to cripple many..and if you have food stored that you bought at lesser price you'll be saving alot of money...
@@jojobaker1764 thank you, yes I am stocking up for sure. It’s just upsetting seeing stuff like this. Of course I don’t want others to panic but it’s false news like this that makes my family and friends think I’m crazy for prepping and that every thing will be normal again soon.
The forecasted world food shortages are going to hit non-producing countries the hardest, not entitled American consumers. The fearmongering is causing inflation due to artificially high demand. People should have been prepping by planning years ago, not out of fear today. If somebody is afraid I have to presume they already have their garden in and are worried about hail. Nothing to see here.
