@@Hugoknots The best of the Retroverb is the filter and his possibilities, the reverb is not bad but the springs are shorts. For pure reverb a unit with long springs is better.

yes Bro, I send the tracks in pre-fade mode to the aux of the HPF, and from the HPF to a return track, then in this return track I send the signal from HPF by different auxs to the other fx like phaser, reverb or echo so I can have a lot of possibilities and fx chains

Hello and big thanks, I have 6 aux and all the FX returned on different channels to have more possibilities of interaction, I think you can put the phaser and delay in serie in the aux channel and use the on/off or mix knobs in the FXs to have only phaser, only delay or both

I’ve been watching your Behringer spring reverb videos and it seems good gear for the price and you don’t need to amp the unit like in the Surfy bear, but maybe improve the sound with a pultek or amp is possible? or there will be saturation?

Hi, it seems that the best way to do it is using External audio effect plug-in, my Ableton Lite don’t have this but it works with a return channel, I send u the link than I’ve used. help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005113200-Using-external-audio-effects

Hi Stefano! One of the way to use the ktbk in the daw is: Connect the ktbk input to line out 4 of the soundcard and the ktbk output to the line in 2 of the soundcard, then in the daw you have to route the Aux channel 1, the input is line in 2 and the output is line out 4. Finally open the Aux 1 in the channels to send the audio to ktbk. I hope it’s works, regards ;)

Thanks! It works alone as aux effect but you have to push the volumen pot all the way, It is really designed to work with amps to improve his sound. I have used it with booster pedal tc electronics rush and good results.

How do you find the quality of the KT stuff you have? Sounds great to me but I have seen a couple of reviews trashing it. @@sergiodubgaku

@@loveudon6972 Hi, I use the KT stuff in the recordings of the bass n keyboards to fat and push them, sometimes in post-mix for low n high end and control, I use them with the spring reverb too, with very good results. I think the EQP-KT works very good, the 76-KT sounds good but it makes some noise so you have to be more careful

@@loveudon6972 wellcome! I play my own basses, keys, synths and some percussions. For the drums I use stems of real drums by DrumDrops. But in this video I am using stems by Roots Makers

I have only used Boss PH-2, TC Electronics Blood Moon and Mooer Phaser (analog, cheap and good fx pedals), I think the dual phase is a bit better in sound and more versatile because of the 2 phasers and the internal routing

yeah Furman RV-1, it’s s great classic reverb with limiter but hard to find… I am using a KT limiter and pultek and sometimes a tube amp to improve the sound of the SurfyBear reverb

@@sergiodubgaku You have really beefed up the sound with the KT gear. I have the opportunity to grab a Boss RX-100 Reverb Box Spring reverb....do you think I could get close to the same sound with it (and maybe a tube amp in front?)? Cheers.

For the bass line of my riddims I have use acoustic contrabass, electric bass, synth bass, square wave… and I like all of them. For me bass sounds are amazing no matter which timbre they have.
