Limitations Real Numbers impose on Polynomial and Radical Functions
Просмотров 17Месяц назад
In this video, I provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamental characteristics of polynomial and radical functions. You will learn how to find their roots, domains, and ranges, along with essential techniques for analyzing these functions. Additionally, I explain the rules for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing functions, including polynomials and radicals. #radicals #polynomi...
Modern Symbolic Logic's 3 Main Logical Connectors
Просмотров 23Месяц назад
In this short video excerpt, I discuss the differences between the three main types of logical connective operators: "strict or," "non-strict or," and "and". Join me as I break down these concepts with clear examples to enhance your understanding of logical reasoning. Whether you're a student or just curious about logic, this video will clarify how these operators function in logical expression...
Conceptual Intro to Calculus (Pt 3): Applying the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus to a Demand Curve
Просмотров 15Месяц назад
In this video, I apply the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus to determine optimal purchasing behavior for maximizing consumer surplus. I show how to derive a demand curve from a given utility function and explain how the area under that demand (marginal utility) curve represents the total utility behind the corresponding purchasing choice. This concise analysis will enhance your understanding of ...
Conceptual Intro to Calculus (Pt 2): Differentiation - Marginal Utility as the Derivative of Utility
Просмотров 16Месяц назад
This video explores one of the applications of the concept of differentiation in calculus, specifically focusing on the marginal utility function being the first derivative of the utility function, helping us understand the trajectory of additional satisfaction gained from each unit consumed. #differentiation #curvesketching #rateofchange #slopes #utility_function #marginalutility #consumer_sur...
Conceptual Intro to Calculus (Pt 1): Derivatives and Integrals as Limits
Просмотров 35Месяц назад
This video introduces the two main branches of calculus: differentiation and integration. Differentiation measures the instantaneous rate of change of a function, while integration sums small parts to find a whole, such as areas under curves. Both concepts are based on the idea of limits, distinguishing them from regular algebra. The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus connects these two processes,...

Why not introduce another imaginary number that yields 1 if you divide by zero.
@@hansheintz6392 as @TilmanThiele said, we are free to introduce new domains of abstract reality if we feel the need to transcend previous boundaries. But we are not free to transcend it in the ways in which previous structures and truths implicit in them deteriorate to any extent whatsoever.

Yea but real life "or" is more like exclusive or If you say Bring fried rice or dumpling You don't mean they can bring both
Yeah. That's because one thing cannot be a dumpling and a bowl of rice at the same time. But if it could, then that would still be a legitimate choice to fall under the OR umbrella.
@UnderStanding_Matters but irl when people say or, its usually an ultimatum Otherwise they'd say A or B or both Human language and logical statements aren't always the same
@@godassasin8097 it is same. It is just in the experiential domain you don't usually have access to two choices that can be both separate and connected.
Also, I purposefully speak about the 'strict or' in the longer version of this video
and/or =/= union/intersection. entirely different notions
@@AntoniosVaitsis-fg4ii not entirely unless the or is a strict or.
@@AntoniosVaitsis-fg4ii also, and corresponds to the intersection, while or - to the union
Your video got recommended to me! Please get a better mic for future vids
Working on the upgrade. Thanks for your attention!
great video, keep going man.
@@SpaceM691 Appreciate it! Thank you.
sound quality. :( and why do you sound like a cartoon character
Working on the sound quality! And love some old school Disney cartoon characters !!
Is it on purpose that you are using a voice changer?
@@milindshah4438 yes! I find it funny and more engaging tbh
But please, tell me what your observation is!
