Free bird was agreeing for the blues scale, except when you're missing two notes of a scale you can almost drop certain modes out of the picture Your best bet is to bend back into key and that's it. And it's a Les Paul. So you have very little in the reach of dynamic guitar tone besides a giant pedalboard.
