[Dishwasher Repair] Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher Repair
Watch as Stu repairs a Bosch 800 series dishwasher that would not completely drain at the end of a cycle. It had E15, E4, and E9 error codes, but had a bad heater, and other component issues. Stu replaced most of the sub-assemblies and gaskets. Watch as he shows a complete tear down and clean.

We added an external pre-amp with a new RIAA equalization curve, and we are able to get pretty decent sound out of our old Panazonic 8-Track deck. We provide a demo of the 8-track playing a Steve Miller Band 8-track tape (you can't hear it very well, but it sounds good!). Thanks for watching!

I'm not technically inclined. I purchased a PANASONIC RS-805US that works and sounds fine but I kinda want to get in there to clean it up. I'm terrified to open it up.

This is great!! Id love to see how this is wired in! Im have a Technics RS-858US that seems a tad fast on a few tapes and i have an Akai CR-80D-SS that im restoring next!
Many times I've found if a label has been partially peeled/torn off, the tape has been recorded over.
That's the era of music I like too. Good taste! Vinyl cases, furniture, everything. That was the 70s.

To think, if you get tired of a pre-recorded tape or those of your siblings, you can record new materials over it. One of the quirks of recorded 8 tracks is that the songs are rearranged from vinyl version to equalize each quarter time of songs for no conclusions.
One day my bro Rich plays his 8-track and finds "that *ssh?le Mariam our brother recorded over Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath with his Disco 💩 in his tape!".
There are certainly horror stories along those lines where you find a rare hard to find 8 track and somebody recorded Ray Conniff over it. I had a two cartridge tape of Filmore East recordings and one of them had just that as well as a Ten Years After tape. Fortunately I had good copies of the albums and I recorded them back on to the tape.

The RIAA curve is to reproduce vinyl records so the grooves can be smaller to get more time on the record.
Its an NAB/RIAA tape curve, for 3 3/4 IPS. I'll do a short segment on the stock and modified curve, it's interesting. The 8 track players respond very well to boosted low and high portions of that curve.
