A model kenworth in Thorne bay alaska.
Who wasted their cash converting that thing to a 60 series? The last one I worked on was on tracks and that was around 2008 or 2009.
Very cool
Where is this machine located? I operate these guys to mine gravel.
@@delbertdoerksen2226 this one is I Thorne bay Alaska, no gravel mining here. solid rock, lots of trees, muskeg mud and saltwater. :)
@@isaac3175 Nice, we are based in Manitoba. We got 2 of these old girls mining gravel. Like them a lot more then saurmans. If shipping was not so expensive, we would probably buy this old girl
Double slow 9 but they could pull a hell of big turn
@alexesgate8033 good to see ya bud!
Betchah that ol girl has pulled some wood !😊
I work queen charlotte 1976 yup this guys are big marblo, crown zellerbach, doman few this guys lots pull and power.this is most dangerous stuff around when pull up hill.thanks video😊
Hey buddy just never gets old !!😂😂😂
Unfortunately Tower Power has left the building. Used to be quite a few around these parts.
That this is huge!!!! So cool! Even has the butt rigging! The 69 series I was not expecting!!
Wish someone would save it and restore it. Too much of these machines are sent to the scrap yarrd.
Yeah, that bad boy could just about be put to work again in the right forestry block
Oh the stories it could tell.....
The 60 series was a shock! I would swore that hasn't seen a hand on it in years! That a 90ft tube? Def never gonna see something this stout in California again. AWESOME
@Jdigger4130 I'm guessing 90ft tube. It was running not that long ago.
I operate one of these at a lumber mill in Oregon, feeding uncut logs into the mill. Worked fine for the first four years or so and now we are having issues with it. Has this one been fairly reliable?
So far I think, it's been traded off for a newer dx300 Shovel If I remember correctly.
man that is awesome !
A well used Ole girl.
👍💪💪❤️🙂
What a beautiful beast!! I love it!!
This made my day. I worked for Silver Bay on Afognak island in the 90's . I cant believe how good of shape shes still in. The one I drove had a silver 92 in it but most of them were cummins.
Nice truck!
BRUTE!!!! Very cool Thx fer posting! Cheers from Santa Cruz Ca!
Did you buy it? Or do you know the owner of it????
No a friend up here that moves me, he snagged it from out the road.
So cool!!!!!
Thats pretty cool, I bet it would haul quite a load.
My family has a tl6 sitting on are property, would love to fire it up again
Had many a load put on by these loaders, not the smooths of machines.
I've worked chasing landing under a 1972 model off and on for the last 8 years. (I usually run skidder on our cat side) Ours has a different boom that they use for yarding. They used to have a similar boom to this one on it before 2015.
Cool
Sad someone scraped the radiator
O yah!!!! Love those tl6 line shovels💪 first line shovel I ever found was out past klikitat Washington.
You should come log with my 2800 the next time your down in the lower 48!!! Would be a blast to hang out with you!
You line up something to do and i will fly down and be more then happy to see Idaho and do some knot bumping for ya, or yard logs, or cut trees, or set chokers, or turn wrenches 🔧 🤔
I’m looking forward to seeing it completely finished!!! So cool!
That looks great!!!!
Man I would love to have that in my backyard!!!!!
Cool stuff Mr Issac!!! How ya doing buddy !
Oh going along.
No AC? Forget it. Wish it was mine.
Man I love old skidders
You guy's have a nice little skidder as well, looks like it gets around in the woods really well.
@@isaac3175 thanks! We only use it to pull out firewood for our own use. It’s mostly a hobby really, probably only gets used 24 hours a year😅 It’s way higher ground clearance than the 440’s and TJ’s, so it rides over stones and stumps real easy and it only weighs 5.6 tons;)
السلام عليكم ممكن تعاون 👍👍
Hello Larson Timber: Kind of odd looking, not having a water tank behind the cab. Must be running on flat land.
Already had an attempt on the top side with a chainsaw mill
Great stuff
Neat video, the deere is real straight
Cool! may be a frame steer 944 loader and a 404 TJ
I like that tree shear.
I have a heart for these old skidders. However not sure that I like pulling chokers right now haha
Cascade trader!!! Our neck of the woods!!! There is a new cascade trader here in north Idaho about 40 min south of my new house.
Boy that's a find little brother !!! I,d love to take a load off the mountain with that ol girl ! Hold my beer & watch this !!!
Is that a Hayes or Pacific, we never saw these out east, man what a beast. Oh yeh, I guess the next guy in the comments said C500 10 times lol. I’m awake now.
Kenworth
Kenworth Brute / C500 model truck, Brute had the set back axle like on that truck instead of up front. Steel fender and hood or fiberglass options. Used to be piles of them around Alaska, Washington, and BC specifically, pretty rare now. Super cool find!
Hi guys,,, amazing,,,
Good to hear from ya buddy
I have never heard of that many hydro pumps on a machine in my life. Crazy!
