The YoRHa Black Box is incredibly powerful, especially for its size. A magically enhanced fusion reactor that's arguably on the level of a matter/antimatter one, or even stronger. All in the size of a Rubik's Cube. However, YoRHa Androids aren't made out of unobtanium, they're made out of real world materials that can be found around Earth to the moon's orbit, or at most the inner solar system. Even theoretical materials like CrCoNi, Borophene etc can only do so much. (we also don't know WHAT YoRHa Androids are made out of exactly, Yoko Taro probably deliberately left that vague due to the fact that even the most sophisticated theoretical materials we are thinking about now would probably be considered woefully obsolete 10,000 years in the future) This is why A2 and 2B can only use their super modes for limited periods, 2B overheats, A2 gradually tears herself apart. With 9S's Control Limiter disabled by the logic Virus, there's nothing keeping his Black Box in check, he's already steaming from overheating, blowing out circuitry and tearing his joints, and that's before A2 activates B-Mode. Their Black Box is literally too powerful for their bodies to handle at full strength.
I hated this outcome. I was ready to tear up yet again with the children ending themselves out of fear and Pascal asking A2 to end him or delete his memories. This was just cruel and painful but not as emotional and heartbreaking as in the game.
This scene gave me fucking chills when I first watched it... The terror in pascal's voice, and the tiny robot at the other end of the room eating the last baby robot. Also... WHY THE FUCK DO THEY HAVE TEETH EW
Although I strongly prefer the game outcome, this wasn't bad. Something about the machines stabbing themselves was just more tragic, since it really was a surprise that they would do such a thing. I was in shock when I saw that. However, in here, they tell you way before that the machines had a virus, and, the idea of just leaving them alone with a virus will prepare you for this to happen.
Personally, I liked how A-1 handled Pascal’s ending. In the game we are given the option on what to do with Pascal. But this time, he chooses to die with the children. He knows that he doesn’t have the will to keep living with all the machines of the village being destroyed, something that also happened in the game. Such a tragic ending indeed.
J'ai toujours cru que NieR, surtout automata, ne pouvait pas etre adapté... eh bien visiblement j'ai eu tord. Et il n'ya pas de quoi, j'esseyerais d'upload plus de contenu NieR au futur
SPOILER FOR NON-PLAYERS Is it merciful the suic!de of a bunch of kids or Pascal being killed by us or his memory getting erased in order to live in ignorance, selling his own kids body parts?
@@Lineedifuga The suicide thing is not so shady that a child eats the others, also the decision to erase Pascal's memory is not a canon decision, since there are other endings that we can give it. As you say, it is only the player's decision, as for the children's heads, well, that is only for players who want to have the achievement of having all the weapons or facing Emil.
@@jhonaraya8704Pascal dying or having his memory erased are the only two possible endings and they seems quite tragic to me. To imagine a kid so scary to kill himself in his own will is dramatic compared to a child eating his friends due to a virus (that, I know, it's the fear itself). I love the anime version and the way A-1 studio have handled it, but the game one makes me more uncomfortable (like the decision about Pascal's memory/life).
@stkvictor I'm really looking forward to that. Hopefully they animate the long text session in the game after their deaths and maybe some replicant scenes since emil should appear since we saw him in episode 13
2A/A2: Activate Berserker mode! Seeing this fight without cuts was awesome!
The end is too happy.
It's all Nier Normal, until the VA of 9S shouts Hinokami Kagura 🤣. They have the same VA.
It does not bother me much.
Jajajaja
ほんまにここゲームで辛かった…どっちを選べば…って
1:23 a2 gets some super speed visual effects, but 9S is running at the same speed but does get it
9S is already strong enough but the virus actually boosts him a lot, and this is why A2 uses berserker mode to match with him
The speed affect for beserker mode was something that was already in game

i agree with you here, but atp that's just a yoko taro thing to pull out a cruel outcome when least expected

Thanks for uploading the entire scene with no cuts.
yw!
Different event same outcome why can’t they ever give us happiness
All of this happen because of some idiot and his red dragon.
C'est tellement vrai 🤣🤣🤣
It happened cuz of Zero & her flower.
Drakengard ending E is genuinely traumatizing
Ce duel était si intense. Je ne pouvais pas rêver d'un meilleur hommage à mon jeu vidéo préféré. Merci d'avoir publié ça

That last 9S's monologue, is so hurt that broke my heart
peak
Indeed. Glory to mankind!
What a terrifying ending, I didn't expect that, I prefer the end of the game, it's more "merciful"
