Used to love the six players cabinet I have seen a lot of people playing it back in the Day. In some Versions of the Arcade game you can alternate the attack moves by holding forward, UP/Down Storm Is a very strong character doing so. Hey, welcome back!

This was my favorite arcade. The first time I completed it I used 17 coins. Most of them on Destro and Cobra Commander. Thanks for the memories!

All that endless shooting during the absurdly overly long Helga battle had numbed my brain to such a point that I actually forgot what I was watching, so right at the end when that message came up saying "Midway presents the world's greatest rock band", for a moment I thought the Beatles were gonna come out! I think Midway should have said "world's coolest rock band" there instead, in order to avoid confusion.

I should point out that with some characters I am not good with, like at all. Some fighters have such weird inputs for their combos or powerful special moves.

This game was badass at his Time. The console versión was solid proof of the power of games to come.

I only ever saw this game once...when I was a kid, and very briefly. Normally I'd have played it and watched other people play it for hours, but the arcade I was visiting was enormous and my time was limited, and there were quite a few other games that were more interesting to me.

I appreciated how this game stood out in its genre, with its multiple pathways, and unique, "secret" ways to defeat some enemies (such as shooting down the sign to kill the grenade-throwing receptionist at the food processing plant, and shooting out the bridge to kill the boss of the same level -- not everything was defeated by shooting it until it died). That being said, I also remember this game being difficult AF. At my arcade most people didn't get very far at all. Someone once made it to Helga, but he ultimately lost to her, and that was the furthest I'd ever seen anyone get. I never saw anyone actually beat the game.

Pure action music video shooting game

One thing I want to address with this video: You probably see in the video that game insists that I should reload my gun. Thing is, I actually did. It's the emulator having a problem of deciding with rapid inputs that what input should be accepted, firing or reloading. Sometimes I desperately try to reload fast and continue firing but emulator for some reason doesn't accept the reload input, therefore I get hit by enemies. Sometimes it's the opposite, I want to reload my gun but instead the gun fires.

This game blows my mind! The first Top Gun game had some serious flaws. Almost no music, some frustrating an uninspired game play, boring boss battles, and a difficulty that left the player cheated. It wasn't a bad game at all, but should have been a bit more refined. This game took ALL of those flaws and not only fixed them, but improved them many times over! It has better looks, better sound and a criminally underrated soundtrack! It's simply a better game!

I remember how exciting this game was when it came out. No game had such good graphics and sound! In 1994 this was truly revolutionary! I also remember how tough it was to beat. Chewed through a lot of quarters!

i like how in the bad ending you still defeat the new order but you cant "do damage" Aerosmith style in the good ending lol
