There was one moment during 2003 when I probably could’ve bought this synthesizer for a comparatively low price when one was on the floor of my favorite retailer. What stopped me? Aside from not having that many pennies to spend, everybody I knew was trying to talk me out of getting too much gear. It’s as though they all knew gear acquisition syndrome was a real thing for me.

The summit is such a great synth. I traded mine for an Arturia Polybrute, its a great synth too but i do miss my Summit. I still dont even know if i did the right thing trading it.

Why is it all demos of this synth always sound so good? I refused to buy this in keyboard form factor because the tiny display was as far from the user as possible. But now in desktop form, would like to have all 3 in this series.
