Will opening my laptop affect warranty?
Guys I need help my laptop has like green foam between the mother board and fans making it impossible to remove the fans unless I tear the green foam. Am I doing this right is there another way I can get to the cpu?

Water cool for 5700x is not nececery. One of the coldest cpu.
The truth is those 2 core i3s and quad core i5s started to choke and stutter really bad, whereas not so much with the fx.
Ive only had my computer for about a year. The thermal pastse is practically GONE. And i was wondering why it was so slow. O.o Now i know why

Lmao bro removed the industry grade ptm7950 (with harden at room temp and melts into liquid under heat to improve heat conductivity) with a generic paste 😂😂 temps gonna be worse now especially in the long run

I have Gigabyte G5 With factory paste i had 100 °c When i change it drop to 60 - 70 °c

No need to worry actually, if you download hwmonitor to look at your temps and if it doesn't reach 100 C when you play games you're good
@@Raffy-wo4ph I use Cpu Temp and afterburner, it doesn't go over 80 I think, sometimes 85 max but that is when I play a really demanding game.

How many millimeters thick should the thermal pad be?
It depends on your laptop, different models or even different variants of the same model use different thickness of pads. You might even need 3 different thickness.
