@@exposhap I've had diesel BMWs and not one had black smoke come from the exhaust.
@@MCorrigan This one most likely doesn’t have a dpf which typically accounts for the dirty look
@@exposhap I've done DPF deletes, EGR deletes and AdBlue deletes. Still no black smoke.

Had 2 of these in the past. Lovely cars if maintained properly. If you buy a cheap one that has little to no service history be prepared to pay the same you got the car for in repairs 😂. Apart from that they are very fun to drive.
@YTN.Isy7 Depends from car to car. With a twitchable eco tune - Highway 39-44mpg. City 18-26mpg (better values have also been recorded by others)

Get a garage to run a smoke test on it as quite possibly a boost leak you are hearing
