Sorry, Retro Studios is *not* the developers behind Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. While Retro did develop the original Wii version and 3DS port, the company behind the Switch remaster is a Polish studio called Forever Entertainment.

Any “best metroidvania” list which includes Dead Cells is immediately discredited. Dead Cells has none of the mainstays of the genre.

Unfortunately, Sun Haven is awful on the switch with all the bugs and crashing. I wouldnt recommend it until they fix the state of the game. It does not include all the content thats available on the steam version. Multi-player is also not an option as of this time. If you want Sun Haven, get the steam version before the switch. :(

Though the AI voice was a bit.. not really sure how to explain it really, but can tell you put a lot of effort into this and reading your other comment about why you did it, im not gunna hate on it lol. Well done video, always great to see new channels popping up and trying stuff out. Im a HUGE fan of RPGs, specifically JRPGs so love lists like these to find my next new adventure as you put it.
