A little out of Wisconsin but too beautiful of a place not to share. This is from a recent Thailand trip in Krabi. Dragon's Crest has about 2,000ft in elevation and brings some of the best views from Krabi, Thailand.

If you have drove on Hwy 21 past Necedah you probably drove right past Petenwell Bluff not knowing it is here. Located on the corner of Hwy 21 and the Wisconsin River. Often you will find people rock climbing on this little known bluff.

Can you go up there in November?
It's open May thru October, not sure how restricted access is outside those months
I wouldn't go in November.The extra-tropical cyclones in the great lakes during the fall transition period can be volatile and unpredictable thus making conditions on the Great Lakes dangerous.
These trail systems are absolutely horrible… I can tell why they are not listed on any MTB apps. After the trail heads you are on your own, no signage anywhere in the trails.

This is my favorite place to hike in the fox cities. Lots of trails with a variety of terrain and never crowded.

Nice video. For me there are too many times you have to ride on the road, and on gravel trails. I prefer paved trails, and I avoid the road as much as possible. I prefer and will stick with the Heart of Vilas County trails. They are my favorite.
What an interesting place.
Was there in 2017. Parked in the lot and walked out to the island. Now the Lake is up too high.
There is a another MTB trail in Riverview Gardens that's more forgiving. I ride those trails all the time, even with a fat tire bike, that trail you rode is pain in the ass.

Unfortunately it is no longer a loop. The DNR removed a large section of the breakwall over the winter... It will not be replaced either...

I am about 90%% certain you missed the reroute back to the trail at 3:09. While I am not a fan of the Fox River Trail, I have gotten off the bus near 3:09 and walked that area.
After missing the real end on the East River Trail, I am pleasantly surprised you did find and record the TRUE end of the Fox River Trail at 3:35. And you also gave us extra footage!
I had to edit the comment as I stated you showed a trail at the very end I did not know about. But that is simply one entrance to the East River Trail. I haven't done a small portion there, perhaps 300 yards, as I chose to cross the East River and continue on towards the Baird's Creek Trail and go that way instead. And it is obvious after doing this video, you went and did the East River Trail afterwards. This probably played a major decision on where to start your ride.
I really liked this video. I have recorded MANY videos on this trail. My #1 place to record videos is at Weiss Park, near the end of your video. I am quite certain you biked this and not hiked it, as I see you pass pedestrians really fast. The good news is I have hiked this entire trail and is recorded. I did skip the area where there is no trail and you have to go on the street. Which you did record. Also to note the East River Trail connects to Baird's Creek Trail, and I recorded that as well: ruclips.net/video/9S3tp8qTbVw/видео.html I made a short video discussing having finished recording the entire system, East River and Baird's Creek, and discuss and show the stats of the trails, and what I did. I actually went back and recorded areas that were flooded and noisy! At 1:36 mark, you missed the closest turn back onto the East River.
You can see it also at: 1:44 where you turn left, but if you look right, the trail goes to the spot you missed at 1:36.
You went through puddles, guessing this was biked not hiked?
At 2:11 you state: wrong way. However there are 2 ways, but the way you went may have been flooded...
LoL however the wrong way at 2:15 was indeed wrong!
High water at 2:20 may or may not have been passable. It has been touch and go for 3 years. Sometimes you can make it through there, other times you can't.

Excellent! I've wanted to go to the quarry to hike! Now I have a better idea of what the terrain is like!
Suggest good shoes, trails getting there have many uneven rocks (ankle twisters). Many hikers walk with poles, but not necessary.

How did you know the turns as they aren’t marked? This is a great video and should have more views.
The entire circle is actually marked pretty well, some of the turns are painted on the road and might not show up in video.

What brand of dock is that?
It was custom built by us, so no brand. Know they sell docks that come apart similar to this one but no idea on brands or who sells them.
