Problem with this is, 500 bucks isn't gonna get that man a job, might buy him a little time in shelter, food, alcohol, or drugs, but handouts don't stimulate motivation to work and get a steady, healthy life. For many, it does the exact opposite, and its gone in a few days, and they are right back on the street, or they never leave. Free money isn't the solution, its part of the problem. Wish CA would realize this.
