Fantastic footwork by the first guard. Notice also how quickly he swivels his shoulders after the cross between the legs to change direction. It's a good comparison of perfect vs. general flaws people have in guard 1 vs. guard 2.
The drill as it's designed isn't a basketball drill, and it doesn't work on a basketball skill. This was a soccer drill that someone saw and put on a basketball court. To make this drill effective for basketball is going to require significant alterations
Navigating the court and other players and making strong passes in what seems to be chaos is the point of the drill, playing in a chaotic state while keeping organization and communication flowing.
Why does he get upset on the last one?
Can only do this after a made basket?😊
Great drill. Not as easy as it looks.

Good stuff
What’s the point of this? What skill is being developed by this drill?

Come on guys it’s to break either a 1-2-2 press or some other full court press by being able to pass the ball around the court.
Similar to the UTEP set again.
UTEP also runs this set
It’s no way teams were actually scoring on these guys. Don’t say that to me.

I do this drill with my middle school Varsity team. We call it Tennessee Shooting. Lots of shots and some cardio as well.
Blind Pig!
Are there any videos or documents where I can learn more about this offense?
