An explosion of such force would not be surprising.
The end left him as an endoskeleton with a molten face for a FULL MINUTE or 2 before he was dropped. RIP to that Cardigan Sweater and Good riddance to old man gloom
What did zozobra even do
Viva lá fiesta
Bro whay is dere not fiesta song
Nope. Began in 2013. Due to Zozobra staying on the pole for a long time they played the fiesta song after the lights came back on.
They played it when the lights came back on.

So, what are you 2 up to these days?
While living the nomadic lifestyle was great, that lifestyle was not in alignment with our core values. As a result, we decided to reduce our carbon footprint by selling the Casita travel trailer and finishing our off-grid home in southern Arizona.
@@teamkrandy3363 I C. So you all are not going to do anymore videos?
@@jimbosvidbits6166 we may create content in the future, however it won't be travel-based.
much better in 2017

Wow 🤡👍👍 viva las fiesta 😀
Are you guys still living there?
No. We recently sold both properties.
That's a good one!
Yes, it was a nice size. We've been fortunate to have seen many more since then and we still appreciate their beauty as if it's the first one we've seen.
@@teamkrandy3363 and then kill it! My man! I hear you can make nuggets! Never had but would try!
I came here from your review and looking to go there in the next day or so. Is that one of the designated spots? And did you go in from the north or the south? I'm coming from the south and wondering if I should get on the gravel at HWY 59 or drive 9 miles through two towns to get there from HWY 9. That gravel doesn't look too bad. I'm driving a Ram 1500 and pulling a 17' trailer.
We haven't been back since making this video, and we don't know if the BLM in that area is restricted due to the current Covid restrictions/closures, but yes, that particular spot was a designated spot when we were there. As for how we arrived there, we took Hwy 9. The gravel road wasn't a bad option either, at least when we were there and explored the road to see what else was in the area. Enjoy the visit. Zion and the surrounding area should be a beautiful visit this time of year. Safe travels!
My husband and I just put our downpayment in on 4.29 acres in Douglas Arizona,Can't wait !
That's awesome! Congratulations! Do you have any plans on what you'll do with the property? Building a house? We love the area. We purchased an additional 5 acres directly adjacent to this 5 acre parcel not too long after making this video. Since then our plans have changed somewhat, and as a result, both 5 acre parcels together are available for purchase for the price we paid for them ($9,000 for both parcels). We are not actively trying to sell them as of now, more so passively (word of mouth). Both parcels are located in the Coronado Lakes Estate development off of Leslie Canyon Rd. We decided to sell these parcels because we purchased our off-grid dream house earlier this year and no longer have plans to do anything with the parcels. Our house is less than 3 miles from these parcels. Perhaps we're neighbors.
@@teamkrandy3363 Hi possible neighbor!we are building offgrid, earthbag, permaculture food forest.
@@bouncingbetty3636 very cool. We have a small (600sq ft) burnt adobe block off grid home. It's not completely finished, however we're having fun completing the renovations. There are quite a few earthbag and straw cob homes in the area. Good luck with the home build! We love hearing about new like-minded people moving into the area. It really is a nice area to live. For a few reasons we keep most of our off-grid house projects separated from our RUclips channel, however for a little more info about our house feel free to check out our "Team Krandy - Life on the Road" Facebook blog. There's a guy who lives in the area that basically has devoted his life to building earthbag homes and teaching others how to build and live sustainably. His name is Kenny Quinn and he has a Facebook page called "Earth and Sun Sustainable Builders". He lived in the Earthship Community in Taos, N.M. and worked for Mike Reynolds for several years before branching-out on his own. He's a great guy and does some beautiful builds. Welcome to the neighborhood.
@@teamkrandy3363 my husband has been following Michael for as long as he chased the earthship dream...I don't know his last name but he was the architect/ engineer that first won for experimental building or alternative building. My husband was an Industrial engineer in a chapter of his life.
@@bouncingbetty3636 you may want to reach out to Kenny Quinn when you're in the area. Kenny hosts earthbag workshops. He does beautiful work, is really down-to-earth, and is extremely knowledgeable and loves teaching others. He might even be interested in hosting a workshop to build your place if his schedule permits and you were interested.
5acres, nice. I have 1/4acre somewhere there (College Park?). Not sure what to do with it. No mosquitos, great.
College Park isn't far from where this parcel is. The Coronado Lakes Estates and College Park areas of Sulphur Springs Valley make the perfect location to build an off-grid home, homestead, retreat, or just basecamp. With a 1/4 acre parcel you will be limited on what you can do with it mainly because Cochise County mandates that you must have a septic system, but it would make a great seasonal basecamp for a traveling RV'er.
Is there an opening in the other end of the tunnel?
There's no opening at the end. It's more like a 1 mile-long cave. It's an awesome thing to explore.
OMG what a great video. We just subscribed and gave a thumbs up. My wife and I are going to Imperial dam in December for two weeks. We just love the neighborhood that you show in the video. Would you mind giving directions to the campsite or even tell the neighborhood? I love the idea of getting away from the more congested area with a wonderful view like this.
The campsite location is in the Fishtale Flats neighborhood. We don't expect to make any videos during the winter season, but plan to start again in the beginning of the 2020 travel season. Safe travels.
How long did it take in total? including the walk back?
We were taking it easy and it took about 2.5 hours total which includes the stair climb and hiking the trail along the scenic route back to the parking lot. If you google "Manitou Incline record times" you'll see some individuals with extremely impressive times......but you won't find us on the list. ;)
Thanks.we are going to be 65 this summer 2020 and we want to do it....we are in pretty good shape for our age as we walk 3 or 4 miles a day but we live at sea level.we have started going to our local high school and walking the 80 step bleachers over and over.
From what you're telling us you shouldn't have a problem climbing it. It's the last third of the climb that's the most challenging as the degree of incline increases significantly.
It is good to see a video from you again. I have missed you. Thank you for sharing this absolutely stunning place with us. Chiricahua National Monument had definitely gone on my bucket list.
Thanks for the comment. It's good to be back. Chiricahua National Monument is one of our local favorites.
My wife and I visited Fort Bowie and Apache Pass in March 2018. It was awesome! Lot of history.
We agree. There is so much history in that area worthy of sharing with others. We hope to revisit Fort Bowie and Apache Pass again sometime this year and even possibly make another video during our visit.
Enjoy your post, look forward to many more.
Thank you. More coming soon.
Interesting watching. Not something I'd do (hang gliding). Maybe I would...looks exhilarating.
I see you uploaded this in early May, was that also the time of year you were there? I'm wondering about the elevation, time of year to visit and temperatures. Thanks
We uploaded the video the day after we left Valley of the Gods. We did leave a GPS location in the video description and researching that location should give you an elevation. Temperatures were comfortable (around 80) while we were there.
What model number and name brand on the drone? Amazon? Is this Mandy's house?
The drone is a DJI Spark. There are several DJI drone models offering more features than the Spark, however the Spark does everything we need it to do and suits our needs perfectly.
Love the Tie-dye shirt.Amazone?
We love tie-dye and prefer purchasing our tie-dye clothing from local vendors during our travels. We definitely like supporting local businesses.
