Sadly no. I think they tried to contact the taxi company but they didn't bother replying and as it isn't the crime of the century and due to lack of resources they didn't bother chasing it up.

why not? It's slightly downhill, so they learn to balance without worrying about pedaling, and if they fall it is a soft landing. Once the balancing technique is learned then pedals back on and onto a hard surface so they learn how to combine pedaling and balancing. it worked like a dream.

If you'll notice, the girl is occasionally pushing along the ground to propel herself forward. That's because the pedals have been removed from her bike. If you take the pedals off and let the kid coast on grass, they could learn to ride a bike in one day. My niece and nephew learned this way, recently.

liza m she wanted an ice cream but I'd got no money. The second time she was crying was because she hated learning to cycle. It's all part of growing up: she loves cycling now, so it was worth the tears.

thanks for your comment, Sean. I think you will find that there is a legal requirement to allow 1.5m, and that West Midlands police are being pro active in addressing this. Also, you might notice that I am banging on the vehicle when it is next to me, clearly it is too close. The driver then pulls across before he's finished overtaking me. Therefore I am not filtering because the other road user has not fully overtaken me.

I think you will find there is no legal requirement at all. You would require a law for there to be a legal requirement. Good luck in finding one as there is no such law. Highway code rule 168 specifically applies to you. It is a simple and clear rule. Your filtering is after that nearer to the junction and with a smaller gap than the lorry left you when it passed. Your safe gap should be the same.

Stuart Armitage you failed to apply rule 168 to yourself. Which is being overtaken. Do try again. West Midlands police is not law. As such can not be prosecuted for passing within in 1.5m as the I'd no law to specify that. Do try again. You are able to identify a law as it says act of parliament. There is no such law.

sean sean Of course you can be prosecuted for driving within 1.5m from a cyclist. The charge being driving without due care and attention. That's not to say you will be prosecuted.

I think it has got it all: the slow intro as the speed builds as I go around the knot, the ethereal synths indicate a tense sense of forthcoming action, then as the bass kicks with the arrival of the hairpins as I hammer the pedals then squeeze the brakes hard to get round each bend then hammer the pedals again, the hypnotic rhythm of the bend, straight, bend, straight, and my efforts of pedal, brake, pedal, brake, align well with the repetitive beats of the music. If that’s not a happy marriage between music and film then I don’t know what is. We go to clubs for the atmosphere, excitement, joyous music and the effort of dancing, how is this not similar to the workout you can get on a bike? Have you never been to a spin class with pumping music playing? My average heart rate for this descent was 114 bpm, similar to when I’m dancing.What about the music at the end?

Glasgow Cycle Guy Yes it does, you are filming overtaking cars that are going over speed bumps to slow them down to a safe speed and then posting on RUclips to have your time in the sun with the rest of the GoPro clan. As for your second comment I am in fact a very good driver who has had the opportunity to take extra lessons and a test with my employer, and in doing so had far better result than the instructor....Oh and by the way I just hate cyclist, especially the ones with the cams that shout out number plates and when questioned about their own road craft start spouting off that they have a right....BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm not the one filming any overtaking cars and neither is stuart The cars did not overtake him, he overtook them And yet you still miss the point this video is all for, its not for "your time in the sun" its to show that cyclists don't impede traffic flow In your opinion you're a good driver and extra lessons mean squat. You hate cyclists for what reason? And why hate them more, the only reason they do that is because that car is a danger to them and they are reciting the registration so it is vocalised on the video aswell. Generally, cyclists with helmet cams have very good if not excellent road craft and they say about them having a right because they do and most drivers spew out the road tax nonsense or the retarded "theres a cycle lane" quote too And this is youtube, not an email, you dont need to sign off on all your comments, it makes you look idiotic

If that cyclist owns a car he is paying 'road tax' or emission tax or whatever you want to call it. So it is relevant. Hi Lisa thanks for your comment. I realise that my videos don't always paint me in an angelic light, but I just get pissed off with motorists who just seem to think "It's a cyclist, they don't matter". In this video, the lady pulls out in front of me then drives at 13 mph, slowing me down. Yes, just 13mph. If she wanted to drive slower than me she could have waited the few seconds until I'd passed the junction and then pulled out behind me. With heindseight what I should have done was just overtaken her, without need for shouting of course. :-)
