She’s not driven at a high level. Has never driven an F3 or F2 race. Has not worked behind the scenes at a team. So why should we have to listen to her opinions on what Lewis Hamilton should have done, or what Max Verstappen would have experienced in a moment? How would she know?? Bernie Collins is a great addition. Full of insight and knowledge!! Pinkham is more of a presenter and full of character. She has a wealth of reporting knowledge…. But let’s stop replacing great ex driver pundits just to squeeze in more women for the sake of it! F1 has a female audience already. We don’t want diversity, we want quality

Johnny was a better driver than Brundle. He was great in the Benetton. 1995 was his best season with 2 wins and 4 podium finishes. He had a grand total of 3 wins in his F1 career. He was also in the winning teams of Le Mans many times. Brundle had two 2nd place finishes in his Formula 1 career. He's not even won a single race. He does have 7x 3rd place finishes and 2x 2nd place finishes but he was never really in the mix. He only won in Le Mans once with Silk Cut Jaguar in 1990. Brundle is an "also-ran" so whenever you try and put faith in what he says, he doesn't come from a winning angle. He never won shit worth talking about. He is what my British compatriots might classify as a "knob".

Johnny was honest, outspoken and didn’t follow the narrative. He said what he thought, told the truth and didn’t care about any backlash. If you read his book you will know exactly what type of person he is. He isn’t a yes man, and never will be but that is what most broadcasters want nowadays along with not fitting in all the categories for the box tickers.

Why would Sky f1 want a real F1 driver as a pundit when Sly F1 now have a token African woman that's had as much f1 experience as a dead dog.

I used to watch most of Sky F1 , practices, qualifying, race build up, race and analysis. I dont watch any of that nonsense now. I just stream the race from IPTV and that’s it. It’s just turned into a diversity tick box exercise with the semi knowledgeable.

I don't miss Johnny and Paul. Now they have to get rid of Damon and Ted.

i know this is an old video. the only reason he is fired is because he is not a woman or a person of inclusion/color. bernie is only hired because she is a woman. i know people that have sky sports always they always mute it when bernie collins comes on some even skip on watching it.

Paul Di Resta was definitely one of the most informed and logical presenters and Johnny Herbert added fun into the equation as well as his technical knowledge and unbiased commentary.

I think its highly possible that two white males (Herbert and Di Resta) were let go to make room for more female presenters. If you think I'm imagining it, count the number of male reporters or presenters on the BBC these days. Woke evolution 😑

It has reached the point where I watch the feed (no other options) but mute the audio most of the time. Bernie Collins is the only bright spot...unbiased technical expertise.

A stitch up if ever i heard one,they sack Johnny and bring in dithering Damon and some female who thinks she's a model and once raced in the Clio cup,knows absolutely zero about F1 and states the blatantly obvious and is more interested in what crazy clothes she can put on for the cameras,but then there is the brilliant Bernie who more than makes up for the aforementioned Johnny and Bernie would make a great team. I think Max has mended his relationship with George because he and Lando are close. I think that has changed the personal dynamics between them. I am not gonna be pessimistic about it like Matt Gallagher is (saying sure Max and Lando are buddies now, but what happens when Lando gets a consistent move on him). I think Max has really changed since he and Kelly got together. Something has definitely softened in him. Whether that's raising/helping to raise Penelope or realizing his dad is an absolute piece of shit and thus not a good role model of how to behave yourself or just getting older.... I don't know. But the Max today is NOT the Max of 2021. He seems like he's warmed up and become a much more happy version of himself. He doesn't have anything to prove anymore.
