Just picked up myself today from a local forbidden planet for £45, fantastic figure from one of my favourite scenes in anime. Was looking for how to put the sword in just to be sure and this was one of the first videos.

Wb the ones with the longer warnings on the front no GameStop sticker but everything else is the exact same

Don't forget to remove the film from the bases too! They base is usually very clear acrylic as well. 🫶 also i just ordered some and received them today. I love how inexpensive they are. Even if you take a chance that the quality may be bad, for only $3-5 its a good deal! 👍👍

I think I'd definitely use these figures for what they are made for. I'm pretty sure that if they are indeed made to sit on top of a noodle cup, they'd be made to be able resist the heat and steam. Would be weird if they're made for this but couldn't handle heat, right? I like eating cup noodles, and more often than not, I can't really make the lid close properly. So I just put a plate on top or hold it down with my hands. A figure like this would be helpful for that. I'm actually considering getting one just for this.

I buy the $30 - $50 temu figures that are replicas of the more lewd figures. The originals typically go for $100-$200+ so $30-$50 is a steal and typically the quality had been amazing. I don't have a channel if not I would review them so people could see the amazing quality of these figures. I recently bought a $30 Albedo on Temu that ive seen go for $100+ and the quality is amazing on it. Mind you I am a collector so I have many original figures I order from Japan. I have paid full price for figures that I love and just can't bring myself to buy a knock off of. Anyways great video !! 👍👍

What's really cursed about the bootlegs is that they often look worse than prize or trading figures from early-mid 2000s for the same price.

Do you know why some boxes have the sticker of authenticity while some don't? I just bought a Tsunade figure from the Naruto Gals series made by Megahouse at a convention and mine doesn't have 1. It irks me some that it doesn't. It looks exactly as it should be, just no sticker. Am I worrying for nothing? The quality of her figure is perfect and would be too noticeable to be a bootleg, for I've bought some before. The bench she sits on has the watermark at least. So it's always puzzled me how some do and some don't.

You could use some 3M tape or something to keep the hand on top of the boys head

I think the good price range for them is £20-30, there is an incredible figure of admiral aokiji with amazing frosting and ridiculously good detail on the face as well as multiple extra heads and an extra hand. There is also an incredible enel figure sitting on a cloud and smaller Rayleigh statue with a light up campfire. Both of which are brilliant and can barely be distinguished from an official product. Highly recommend to anyone who doesnt feel like spending £100 on something that barely looks as good. (Sorry about the currency, im British and i dont know what they would be priced at in dollars)
