098 | What makes a marriage covenant unique?
In this message, Paul Durbin explores Jesus’s teaching in Matthew 19 about the beauty of covenant relationships, particularly marriage. Jesus emphasizes that marriage is a union God glues and yokes together, modeled after His relationship with His people through the New Covenant. While humanity often defaults to substitutes like casual, contract-based, or “committed” relationships, these fall short of God’s design and lead to pain and brokenness. True covenant relationships, like marriage, embrace hard work, mutual support, and a commitment rooted in God’s grace rather than conditional love. This passage reminds us of God’s everlasting covenant with His people, offering us a model for gra...

In this message by Christian Braly, we explore Jesus’s teachings from Matthew 18 on how forgiveness and reconciliation are at the heart of God's kingdom. As image bearers of God, we are called to reflect His love and character by addressing offenses directly, forgiving as God forgives, and pursuing restoration in relationships. Christian reminds us of the radical nature of forgiveness-modeled b...

In this message by Kevan Ho, we explore two deeply intertwined themes from Matthew 18: our hunger for greatness and the Father’s heart for His children. Jesus redefines greatness as humility, surrender, and God-dependence, contrasting our culture’s self-centered, achievement-driven view. He calls for childlike faith-marked by vulnerability, receptivity to His love, and gratitude. But this passa...

In this message by Paul Durbin, we explore how to overcome fear and step boldly into God’s calling. Focusing on Matthew 17, Paul outlined four practical steps to conquer fear: 1) See Who Jesus Really Is-God incarnate who understands our struggles; 2) Understand What the Word Really Says-don’t rely on second-hand interpretations; explore God’s truth yourself; 3) Observe Where Jesus Really Goes-H...

Belay’s Theme for 2025 is grounded in Isaiah 54:2: “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” This call to EXPAND challenges us to examine areas of life where God is calling us to grow-in faith, responsibility, and reliance on Him. This expansion isn’t about physical growth but heart and perspective shifts. T...

Paul Durbin’s message examines the extent of God’s love using Ephesians 2:1-10 as a guide. Just as Elizabeth Barrett Browning counts the ways she loves in her famous sonnet, today’s question is, "How does God love us?" Through a deeper look at Scripture, we see seven profound ways God's love is expressed: He loves us in our sin, loves us when we don’t deserve it, loves us to life, loves us enou...

091 | How can we keep being sent as Jesus was sent?
Просмотров 24Месяц назад
Paul Durbin’s message challenges us to consider how we, as followers of Jesus, can continue being sent like He was sent. In John 20:21, Jesus says, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” The word “AS” points to the manner of Jesus’s mission and reminds us to reflect His example in how we live and love. Paul outlines four key actions to keep living missionally: Show Up (incarnate Jesus’s...

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

Yes I need the Lord ♥️♥️☝️✝️🙏
It's not easy to tell people that you're broken. I know I've been there. But there is One to turn to that will be there and He will gladly accept your burden. His name is Jesus Christ and He carried my burdens and is in the process of healing me and putting all the broken pieces back together. He calmed the storm that was raging in me. Thank You too my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ❤
This passage drew me in as having a much deeper meaning & your words very much resonated with me. Blessings

Thank You Lord for this reminder! I know that I have been saved and secured by Your blood, but I needed to hear this right now. I am not shiny and clean; I still deal with the dirt of my flesh. Thank You for Your love, grace, mercy, and patience. And I know others needed to hear this as well.

Thank you Jesus! ❤
Christ be with you I think that's a prophecy of Jesus. God bless you
It does have all the answers to the big meaningful questions we need answers to.
Exactly
Thank you, Lord. Amen.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Jesus cannonically never deadlifted 500lbs, so Imma ignore his creepy "think of my blood when you drink" bit
❤❤❤❤
This passage in both Isaiah and Micah are part of a sentence, and the context of said sentence means that this is about the eschaton (or the end of the age when Christ returns to reign as king). This is not a passage about lifting others up (though there are passages that speak of “bearing each other’s burdens”). Pastor whoever you are, please keep your preaching to the context of the rest of the passage and the greater context of the whole scripture.
Where is this mountain?
Great to hear from these young men.
I love jesus amen 🙏🏾
Yeaaah, they were hemmed when they got exiled from many countries and Palestine Accepted them as refugees with open arms, and then decide to steal the land of the neightbours that gave them a home, exiling them in guettos, destroying their goverment and culture, making them unable to even run a parlament. Lets not gonna forget when they tried to expand to egypt by a war, thats was pretty "Hemmed"
Nonsense. What happens to us has absolutely nothing to do with a fictional entity in the sky. All of the things that happen to us have causes which are understandable. To the extent that we can prevent or lessen the damage of things that happen to us, we can do that. Assuming that we're not looking to that fictional person in the sky to fix things. Embrace your life, choose wisely and live it fully.
Why are humans valuable?
If there is no God why are we valuable?
@@whysoblurry9166 Sorry, what? Your thinking seems a bit blurry, like your username.
@@MythsScamsLies you believe there is no god right?
@@MythsScamsLies i just want to know your opinion on the matter
No, bad things happend because we choose not to be with God and disobey Him. We have the free will to choose Him and He lets us choose, because He is a loving God. And yes we do get stronger because of these challanges that satan gives us not God.
