I’ve been using 4 ganged mustad size 5 tarpon hooks with 10 cm wire covered with squid skirt attached to a 3 way swivel in a patternostic setup. I used fresh herring fillet secured with ghost cotton. Braid is 100lb boat daiwa boat braid with saltiga 30000 spinning reel matched with assassik threee pice surf rod

They are not in Western Australia
Love the fishing. I fish the same ground. Don’t go in the water. Wear volleys instead of hiking boots and it won’t be slippery.

Hi, I’m using mc works raging bull rod 98xs-2 matched with Daiwa saltiga 5500h and running depthhunter braid 100lb and 120 lb leader.
Thanks so much, my PE3 is a Dreamcast x 4k Saltist. Im thinking now i need to upsize but dont want to be using a broomstick, your combo is a great example. Ill be back for that mystery fish!

Hey Farshad great video, i was wondering what combo is that first one you were using? I just came back from the south and got spooled on the PE3 gear, i had to use my Fujin21 with a 10k gosa after that instead, but it was so heavy to work the plastics.

I love fishing high tide. Try Learmonth jetty or walk close to the Navy jetty and cast as you go.
