Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Voice,Very Very Good Video
They pay respects to the tribes and the Queen, great man and woman
Is there a translation to the Haka song?
Nz rock
Hayley sings with so much feeling no matter what she sings!
If Hayley had not done a proper job, the Maori were going to tattoo her face like them
Believe she is mixed Maori, so the cuzzies would look after her. Apparently very proud of her heritage, as it should be.
BLOODY POMEYS
Come again? (it's "bloody Poms" by the way).
THIS HAPPENED IN SOUTH AFRICA AS WELL I LOST FAMILY AND THE FEW RETURNING NOT GIVEN A HOME TO LIVE IN RATHER A FEW ITEMS BITS OF CLOTHING A FEW CARPENTER TOOLS AND SOME A BIKE NOT MOTORISED AND THE POLITICIANS GLORIOUS APARTHEID SYSTEM KILLED WHAT WAS LEFT IN DIGNITY
THIS HURTS WHY ARE THE MAORI WHO LOST SO MUCH GAVE THEIR LIVES ARE STILL TREATED SECOND CITIZENS IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY
Not so they are a much feted nation, they choose to be Maori first and NZers last except for when they appear in court.
Be blessed New Zealand Bless you Hayley
Where be da bros?
My Dad was in the Navy and traveled all over.. He said New Zealand was hands down, the most beautiful country in the entire world. I'm going to visit NZ, to honor my Dad and the Kiwis.
It's where I want to go next!!!🥰
Good choice beautiful country I have been told from 🇬🇧
No me gusta Elisabeth segunda no me representa como celta que soy y la Casa de Windsor solo deseo que acabe//ellos han ensuciado con su vanagloria hasta su propia tradición
Being part Kiwi, my dad was a Kiwi, I am proud of my New Zealand heritage. listening to Hayley brings back memories some sad. my brother who was also a Kiwi passed recently, the funeral was a mixture of English and New Zealand music. Love Maori songs and loved visits to my other homeland.
Beautiful renditions of both anthems!
I am impressed every time I hear Haley. The passion of the Maoris is unequalled. I get a stirring in my heart every time I view this. Thanks
Beautiful version of the British National Anthem. I believe New Zealand lost a higher % of it's population than any other country in the British Empire during WW2. What can I say? Thank you - my dad was in Bomber Command and met many Kiwis. I am a member of the C of E Mother's Union and the first overseas branch was in New Zealand - evidence that many of the earliest settlers were farming stock from the south of England. As for the man who said the British Army traditions were "stuck up and dead" compared with the Haka .... total disregard of different cultures, which isn't helpful. We must strive to respect other's cultures as far as possible, not be in competition as in those days of empire.

I believe Britain lost about 0.91%, NZ about 0.72%, Australia 0.52%, Canada about 0.12% . but yes probably the most of Commonwealth nations. Britain losses also included civilian deaths where as NZ's were totally military.
Must be nice to have perfect pitch.
Whatever Hayley does, turns the event into an occasion.
Wow! Great voice!
GOD SAVE NZ
I think the queen is scared the shit out of the Haka
QE2 is very glad that NZ is on HER side :D
@@Lt_Braen oh be quiet, ignoramus. This is culture from NZ, do you have a culture to speak of.

Honor to the fallen and all the relatives.
She sings like the angels!
suficiencia, On voit bien que tu ne sais pas de quoi tu parles !! IGNARE !! Un ange n'a ABSOLUMENT PAS une voix cristalline comme celle d'Hayley !!
That was great to watch! Hayley sang both anthems beautifully and I would like to extent a huge thank you to our Commonwealth Brethren!
I am Maori and a member of the Returned Services Association...this stuff is good for my tear ducts! I am so proud of my people, my Iwi, my Whanau. The beautiful Hayley honours our country and our people with her lovely voice.
...The whole thing seems crazy and bureaucratic. After all, one human body is much the same as another. A lot of it is about job protection for the locals, I think. In NZ, for example, they use the excuse that outisde people don't understand Maori culture. Um. Many NZers don't either. It is the same as saying that outsiders to the US don't understand Native American culture. The bottom line is that once you have practiced in any of the three countries, the others are open to you.
Yes. I knew a South African surgeon in Australia. He actually worked with Christaan Barnard. He was having difficulties having his credentials recognised in Australia. I suggested he move to New Zealand and work there. Once he had worked in New Zealand, and had his credentials amended/enhanced, he could then move back to Australia, as New Zealand practicing surgeons can work in Australia and vice versa. I am sure the same applies to GB. (more)
amazing .i like
Thanks. You are quite gracious. As it happens I'm a US Army trauma surgeon soon to retire as a Colonel. Seven deployments in as many years has been enough. With the kids all in college, my wife, also a physician and British subject, and I are planning our next adventure. NZ is top on the list along with GB. The problem with GB is that none of our credentials are recognised. NZ and Australia make the move quite easy. We both want to teach. We've had warm welcomes from several universities.
No need to be sorry. You weren't to know. Thank you for your kind words. :)
I am indeed sorry for that mistake.
Ex PM, they say she looked like a man..
Of course. I lived much of my life there and was born there. I find all countries beautiful in their own way.
Have you been to NZ
Are you trying to be funny?
It was 1953 - not so happy for her. A lahar flow caused a bridge pylon to fail and 151 souls were lost. It was one of New Zealand's worst ever disasters, and happened during her visit.
O great! At least you are not having a go at Helen. I can't agree with you. There is nothing wrong with the Queen. She is the one of the few English people who loves New Zealand.
I find that hard to believe. Canada is about 50 times the size of NZ.
Good for you!
Hahahaha fail.
I have lived in both canada and nz and NZ wins hands down.
I wish i lived in New Zealand! beautiful singers and fierce Polynesian warriors.. who could ask for more?
She can abdicate, but she made that famous speech when she was 21 to serve her whole life, /watch?v=6ogXKT-M6e4
