It turned out so sweet, Cathy! Really like how you bound it with the twine and can add pages and decorate as you go. 😍 Such a cool technique with the spackling paste too. Do you have to seal it on the paper with anything? ❤️

I also get most of my supplies from yard sales and thrift stores. It's fun, and I've gotten some great stuff!

I love your tiny journal. I would love to see how you make it from beginning to end. I have never made a tiny journal but have been wanting to for a long while. I am enjoying your videos so very much.

Your lunch bag journal was simply stunning. I loved everything about it. I know whoever bought it was thrilled.

This video came up in my recommendations and I am so happy that it did. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you make your gorgeous tag. Tags are one of my most favorite things to make. I have always been afraid of accidently cutting myself using the scissors to distress the edges of my papers. I found a distressing tool that was made by Stampin Up many years ago at a yard sale. It is great. Tim Holtz also makes one. You might want to check it out. I use mine often now that I have it. I have subscribed to you channel and am now on the way to watch some more of your videos.

Nicely done, Cath. I've found that for my longer scissors if I turn them upside down that they are easier for me to handle. The reason you are having problems cutting straight is because the small scissors pull to the side as they are following the cut part of the paper. I would cut the lines in smaller sections or use an exacto knife. I started using acrylic paint to turn my lace different colors. There are repositional glue sticks available on Amazon. Have you thought about taping aluminum foil on some of your windows to reflect the light and heat out?

I bet that is mat board you have there. My mom made her own mats for her paintings back in the day and it was like triple thick heavy cardstock. The little inchies are so darn cute! Love all your creations!

Definitely get an Epson Ecotank printer! Ink is cheap! Unfortunately the printer isn’t but you save in the long run.

Always good for a laugh, Cath. I used to tape aluminum foil, shiny side out on the windows and it also helped keep the sun and heat out.

Hi Cathy! I think you’re on the right track with reinforcement for the folds…I would use Art Glitter Glue and give it a minute to dry before folding it and that should do it. Glue stick just won’t hold for something that will have tension on it imho. Either paper or washi…I find that washi is usually more flexible and good for the fold thing. I love your choice of papers! ❤
