I can't help but feel as though they nerfed Sanemi and buffed Muichiro in the anime. Muichiro was 2v1ing Sanemi & Obanai, and Tanjiro was shown to be on equal footing with Sanemi despite being significantly weaker than a badly wounded, half blind Tengen.
