It seems like slightly an irrational market right now. People are just trying to figure it out in terms of variation vs base. IMO silver base is best.

My opinion is buy silver rookie singles, in offseason before summer when it starts to heat up. And buy sealed and keep sealed.

Tell me garrett wilson is not a buy right now after looking at his prices, 3 straight seasons with 1k yards and all of them bad qb play qb situation completely up in there air room for upside with a nice signing or if the rumors of him wanting out are true and they do trade him even better, also would be surprised if adams is back next year if wilson is, no reason to have such an expensive & old wr when you know your not even close to a contender

have been mass buying and gonna grade this years prizm of the main qbs and 4 rookie guys who hit 1k yrds have been scowering for clean cards but still feel like im gonna get taken out on a stretcher cuz panini completely botched the quality control this year

Great video Andy. Like the breakdown of rookies based on price. And I agree, I am not a Prizm guy, but really like this year's design. I think there is another comment down below, but it is rare that the Variations out sell the Base, although I agree with you, if I am PCing a player, the Variation in this years set looks better. I think we will see this pan out in the next month of so. The Flashback Silvers are also cool looking cards if you want to save some money. Going to disagree with you a little bit on your personal QB rankings. I would take JJ over Penix. What the Vikings were able to do with Darnold makes me think they may have a QB whisperer in KOC (I am biased as a Vikings fan though). I also don't like the fit of Ben Johnson with Caleb Williams. Caleb adlibs way too much for a playcaller as structured as Johnson. Bears O-line is also not good. I don't like the guy, but it is tough to agrue with Sean Payton's ability to develop QBs and call plays. Give Bo Nix another weapon and he could be really good and I never would have though that going into the seaon. Until nex time....

Look up auctions when u comp cards. Too many people just see a number versus true value...horrible mistakes. These are also raw cards, condition matters. This is why prices are all over the place

I don’t collect Marvin Harrison jr but it looks like his Variation actually has him in Full uniform and not just practice jersey like 90% of his cards seem to be including most of the rest of his Prizm. So if I were to grab one that would be the way to go

As I checked lately, no matter if it is Football or Basketball, long-term the variation of Prizm has never outprized the base Photo. That would be the first year. Guess that is just a coincidence at this point in time. Even though the variations are always rarer (excecpt for the numbered of course) flippers and collectors seem to prefer the base. Be aware if you are not in a hype cycle of the player the variation will be so much harder to move.

Lamar is equally as responsible for that loss as Andrews. The turnovers are brutal mistakes that greatly affect the outcome of the game. Mark Andrews is taking all the heat because he made the key drop in the pivotal moment of the game but Lamar should take just as much blame for that loss

Capitalizing off hype means prices are inflated. Only way to capitalize is to pull these cards from a pack because you'll either break even or lose out. Point is, you have to get the cards before the hype. Before they blow up. Everyone is on this "microwave" success and it'll bite you in the end. Collect HOFers and dead guy signatures. Thats where the money is.

Rypien was on the roster all along. He was cut because Daniel Jones was lifted to the active roster. Eventually he was resigned to the practice squad. Keep in mind Daniel Jones might be Danold 2.0 with the Vikings, if JJ McCarthy is not ready because of his recent knee injury. And Kevin O'Connel seems to be kind of a QB whisperer.
