I have 8 out of the 9 battletech... wish I could sell them as a big set.

Honestly I have 8 different battletech robots... 3 bad guys and 5 good guys. I'm only missing a couple bolts to shoot and 3 little action figures. Wish I could find someone that wanted to give me a real offer for the set.

If you want to keep something old, you'll need NAVY Insurance. NO UPDATED VERSION. At the most, maybe reprints of the exact same thing.

Big mechs are supposed to be as tall as a 4 floor building. But fitting a person inside the head of a mech makes me think mechs should be taller.

The Mauler appears in the instant action section of the DOS game Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries. There is an installation guide for that game in my channel. Everything you need is in the description. The game graphics has aged, but not the sound, music, gameplay and mission design that are awesome. The game tells the story of a merc starting in 3044, 6 years before the Clan Invasion.

Thinking about picking this up but its expensive on Amazon.

the reason behind the only 5 continues then you have to start over was to keep you pumping quarters into the machine to keep you playing till you beat it unlike other games that allowed you to keep continuing no matter how many times you wanted from where you left off....Contra's game wasn't that long so therefore they made it harder to beat the game and it made people keep pumping quarters into the game no matter how many times they went back to square one.

This looks fun FDK! I gotta logon and try this.

Word of advice on transformations back up a little so we can see what your doing.

So sadly this toy line did have some good looking mechs, however since the second wave of the line was nothing but repaints, and the plastic wasn't nearly as good as a lot of toys from that time, not to many parents would buy the second wave, so little to no sales meant cancelation. I think a reboot of this line would be a great idea but with a few tweets to it, 1 larger scale mechs, like the size of the knex madcat, this way the mech it self could have a few extra points of articulation, 2 little larger figure not by much just 2.75 to 3 inches, again for more articulation, and with today's tech that's not hard, 3 the gimmicks would need to be scrapped, at least what they have because over time they cause more harm to the toy then good, instead removable armor plates to show damage, 4 all the mech parts are based on a universal pin and socket system this way parts can be swapped with other mechs of the line, 5 all the mechs are made with grey plastic, this way all the parts can be swapped with out a massive color contrast and the child can design the mech the way they want, boost their creativity as well as gives an opportunity for child and parent to have fun together, best part if all parts are grey and on universal socket and peg system they can sell booster packs for weapon/limp systems
