Thanks for the lovely walk through! I am still on the fence about getting this latest version as I have the first two iterations (Shining Woman and Shining Tribe decks and the accompanying books) and am wondering if the extra cards and the color corrections add all that much. But the colors are glorious in this latest version!

Wow! What an epic deck!! Thank you for sharing it with us. I was stoked as soon as I saw the object in The Magus card that looks like a surfboard -- I thought, "vesica piscis"?? And then the rad guidebook discusses sacred geometry. I love that idea in The Magus card, and I also love thinking about a surfboard as a vesica piscis. 🕸 And I love the connection you made in the Knight (Father) of Cups about gnarly waves being called white horses. 🌊 (Sorry for my awkwardly used surfer words hahaha.) Thanks for sharing this deck. I like the card titles. I think they are limiting those titles with those pairings of words underneath because it implies that those are the only two ways the title word can be experienced. I think I would need to cut those words off. Lovely images though ...

I always enjoy seeing the decks Total Tarot presents as they're reiterations of Lo Scarabeo decks I've already bought, but without the multiple language format. I wish they were available here in the U.S.

Just last week I saw a British person talking about a different deck that also mentioned coneflowers and they hadn't heard of it either. They're so common where I live that they grow wild everywhere so I never even realized they weren't just all over. I'll have to appreciate them more. 😊

Thank you for this wonderful introduction / reviews of the deck. I found the artwork to be beautifully haunting. Like gothic alien sci fi dark fantasy genre vibe. Oh, the number on the minor arcana or pips could be the Decans of Astrology if I'm not mistaken because the minor arcana in Thoth system is associated with the dates or corresponding decands of the astrological wheel. If you would like to delve further, i recommend Lon Milo DuQuette book on the Thoth Tarot. I do prefer if the pip title section, the author of the deck put the Thoth keywords, but oh well, we can always write it down ourselves hehe 😂 Oh i do see the RWS art influence in the Majorarcana but i am pleasantly loving that the minor are illustrated with symbols

I absolutely love the illustrations yet I do think you've picked up on something with the repetition in card meanings. "No idea, no idea at all... girl running away from something..., there's a figure lying here at the bottom"🤣 I might get it for the cards alone. Thank you for the walkthrough!
