I absolutely see where your coming from I just look at it as an investment my ender 3 printer was 220 and a spoil of filament is about 25 so let's lay 300 just to over do it. That's the price of 2 combat patrols well I can find free models everywhere on the internet then send them to the printer and wait with one spoil of filament and the printer I printed 30 basic space wolves, 2 invictus warsuits, 6 outriders, 20 fenrisian wolves, 2 Wolf priests, a nock of russ, and some extra bits and bobs mind you the up front cost is still more then a combat patrol but the long term cost is about 0.50-2.00 a unit
