Great video! I love these designs, though I can't lie, the idea of Marinette inheriting more from her dad and being Big(tm) is the coolest to me. It would explain so much about her character. Also, as other commenters said, Marinette only having blue hair as Ladybug would make so much sense.

ok, this is gonna mainly be giant storytelling sesh tbh but i just wanted to get this out of my chest and this whole redesign thing was encouraging to say the least. ok so, back when i was in my mlb hate era, marinette was creeping me the f out, and whole luka story line, i just geniunely hated marinette? i mean i get that she has a severe case of main character syndrome but still. i had this whole au where it was originally only supposed to be a reverb of the show, but ended up becoming something else entirely. ive always hated love triangle stories cause it made me hate the character(usually the girl) choosing between them, so ended up making it a marinette likes adrien, ends up taking advantage of luka's feelings, and adrien ends up disliking marinette cause of it. luka and adrien become friends and eventually get together and marinette rethinks her feelings and takes time for herself. also, about the kwami's, i hated whatever that was. made them into spirits. much older and much wiser who end up taking control and majorly influencing their personalities in hero mode. they end up having a lasting effect on their personalities cause of the fact that kwami's are originally only supposed to be taking over adults with years of training and not influenceable teenagers. also they're absolutely around 17 years old. marinette does have her quirky personality but this version made her a bit more self absorbed. like all siblingless teenagers are. (im a single child). she's constantly battling between her desires and the city's benefit. she's pretty indecisive and NOT GOOD AT EVERYTHING oml. horrible baker but AMAZING designer. which allows her to get admission into a prestigious school. this is me spit balling but this universe has a college with designers(marinette), models (chloe, adrien), media people(aliya), musicians(luka etc). and thats how they all meet. marinette is pretty rich too so, there you go. theres SO much more in this au tbh, adrien is more the main character and a twist villain, where he ends up betraying everyone to get his mother back in place of his dad etc etc. am just rlly tired. bie. also this is rlly late but LOVED the designs, you were so true abt the whole having no fashion sense at 13 seriously.

The funniest thing for me was Marinette "roasting" Chloe for what she wears in some of the earlier episodes, while Marinette's clothes is almost the exact replica. The variety is in colours, prints and some minor details. But they both just kinda wear cropped blazers with capri pants/jeans and some ballet shoes. This show is ridiculous when it comes to fashion.
