I remember my father was a big follower of Bing Crosby via the radio, and this was the album I remember him buying, I was 15 at the time, dad just around 47. Sadly I very much doubt that the album is still with my mother as cassettes and CDs took over from vinyl and several house moves would have seen non-essentials go to either charity shops or worse to the bins. A childhood of Bing crosby or other big names of the times, Jim Reeves, Glenn Miller, the list not quite as long as in my years of listening to "pop".

I have a ton in this series of 10" records, but this is only the first two verses to the song - the third is in the sheet music from Texas Lil' Darlin' and is the most fun(would've made the tune too long for a 10" 78). It is nice to hear Bing open up his voice and sing out with the chorus! THanks for posting (two years ago).
