Add new Laravel users email to Mailchimp mailing list
How to add the email addresses of new users to your Laravel web app to your email list on Mailchimp.
When new users sign up to your Laravel app you may wish to automatically add them to an email mailing list. In this video I show you exactly how to do this using Intuit Mailchimp. Its really simple to do when you make use of the Mailchimp Marketing API.
In this video I will show you how to authenticate with the Mailchimp Marketing API by creating an API key and installing the mailchimp/marketing client library. We will then be able to use the Add or update list member endpoint to add our new users email address to our Mailchimp audience.

Installing daisyUI in a Vue.js project is easy to do. In this video guide I will show you the whole process. This process involves installing Tailwind CSS in your Vuejs project and then installing daisyUI. As I'm sure you are aware, daisyUI is a tailwind css component library. It makes it really quick and easy to build websites. The great thing about daisyUI is it is free to use. Because it is ...

Tailwind UI vs Tailkit Pricing Components [NON-AGGRESSIVE COMPARISON 🙃]
Просмотров 1873 месяца назад
Tailwind UI and Tailkit are two of the best Tailwind CSS component libraries out there. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the case. In this video I take a look at pricing components from both Tailwind UI and Tailkit. Both of these UI libraries have great options when it comes to pricing component. In many ways the components offered in each are similar, but they are different enough to ...

Dude, we need mini tutorials, I like the way direct and simple that you go.
Great, direct to the point.
Thanks mate!
6/4 = 1.5... do we need to talk about that casual 80 something domains you floated as a number? 👀 Are you spending over 1k a year on domain renewals?
Haha that was a slight exaggeration, although it has got pretty bad in the past 😅
do you even live bro?
I haven't for a while, will do again in the future 👊
Great idea about "live on day one". The only thing keeping me back is some sort of shame if I dont follow through. But I guess its that fear I need to overcome to ship more ideas.
You've got to go for it mate. The shame will be worse in a year if you've done nothing
That saliva story really puts stuff in perspective mate
It's made me question a lot of stuff
Great guide sir!
Thanks mate!
My disgrace rating is 1. It used to be 0 🎉
Still a disgrace on this occasion unfortunately
No.
You sir deserve a medal, straight to the point no fluff
Thanks mate
Ahah great content thanks

Hello mate, hope you're good. Cloudways basically allows you to use Digital Ocean without using your brain
@@codingoblin Hey thanks for the answer. Ill check it out. Have you abandoned Discord? Would be nice to have an active daily community going!

Haha ok you can stay
I am right there is no link to the source?
so to make a responsive navbar link we need to make it twice? for desktop and for mobile? wow that's not very efficient, base on this example i can say better bootstrap then
You don't have to, it is possible to create one and make it responsive. Having the 2 separate navs makes more sense when you loop over an array of menu items rather than hard code them like in this example. Its also a matter of personal preference 🙂
I thought the audio quality was great. If you hadn’t mentioned the microphone I wouldn’t have know.
You're right, the audio did seem particularly good in this video. I think the utility room acoustics were responsible for this
I like Laravel, VILT stack, but I have started playing with Ruby on Rails recently, and I am just so much more productive with it, plus it has native mobile support unlike Laravel. So I'll be doing RoR going forward.
I do not want to hear this 😂

@@mazlanhalim9141 That's ok.
I've tried to learn Laravel from Jeffrey Way's site but somehow I feel I need to brush up on PHP first. How much PHP knowledge do you feel is needed to build a Laravel site?
Yea, can't get away from PHP when using Laravel.
Its probably best to have a decent knowledge of the language behind whichever framework you go with. Saying that, it is possible to learn as you go. I would personally go ahead and try to build a website and figure it out as you go
@@codingoblin Thanks bro. I'll do that :)
Do PHP for Begginers course from Laracasts, its free and apart from making you learn vanilla PHP, it automagically teaches you internals of Laravel since Jeffery actually makes you build it from scratch. After that the 30 days to learn Laravel will be a breeze to you.
So chocked that you are busy Mr BusyMan =)
Cheers mate, hope you are doing good
Maybe its not just the technology, maybe you are a genius as well sir. Well played mate!
Well this is also true, but I must give Laravel some of the credit
Shure NT-mini USB is decent mic for starters - but I think I'll upgrade to mv7 soon
Thanks mate, it the NT-mini from Rode? I can't find a Shure one.
Absolutely. And Inertia 2 is going to make the UX a lot better as well. Laravel, Inertia, Vue, Tailwind. Most productive web stack, by a very large margin. Every time someone tries Laravel and Inertia, the first thing they have to say is that it's the most productive stack they've seen.
100% agree, it's amazing
"Lets just run this command, see what happens" - famous last words lmao
Nothing bad has ever happened using this approach 👍
thanks a lot very clear and usefull video!
Cheers mate, glad it was helpful
Background music makes this unwatchable. I cannot hear or understand anything you say. Accessibility is important and the music impacts accessibility.
Don't worry, I'm talking nonsense anyway 👍
hahaha lmaooooo
thank you for the extra o's

I know mate. I'll be back more consistently soon! How's everything going with you?
@@codingoblin Hey its been a rough week. Im kinda convincing myself to wait for M4 Macbook before really digging down and working hard. But I know its just a scape goat. Maybe it comes out soon though :D
Yikes, yes that's definitely a scape goat. Do what you've got to do. You will feel good for it!
Glad you are still breathing
Thanks man. Me too
Inertia not Alpine?
Aha just googled, wasn't sure what it was tbh but sounds good!
haha there are too many technologies to keep track of 😅 How's business going? I saw your Facebook video got a lot of shares/likes/views!
@@codingoblin Yeah lots of support and friends tagging me in local groups - it's talk of the town but no paying clients as of yet! Not sure what else I can do other than make content that is more meaningful/valuable in order to build up trust to persuade my audience to buy. I was thinking of making an estimate calculator like you have but just a simple one in a Contact form (on a dedicated landing page) with a list of checkboxes - and using that for content for a new video (with a CTA to go to the page and fill it in) and then make follow-up videos going into detail about each service. Other than that I'm going to focus on finishing my picture book before Christmas - that's my priority atm.
That sounds like a good idea. I think it's a matter of trying as much stuff as possible and seeing what works. Better to give things a go and nothing come of it than to try and think of the perfect idea but do nothing 🙂
OBS is good. I'm using it atm to stream Photoshop illustration of my picture book to Fcebook.
Hey, I don't know if u remember me... but last time we talked it was a while ago but I told u I was struggling with mental health and y gave me some advice... I am back into working out and I'm feel better with that. My life is starting to shape up again and I thought I'd say thanks ❤
Yes I remember mate. Glad you're feeling better and getting back on track. Keep doing what you're doing!
Thanks bro for sharing these tips and being on honest on not yet making money on RUclips, the struggle is real! :D May I know how do you do market your website services other than word-of-mouth and making content? Do you do cold-calling, give away flyers, ads, etc?
Hi mate. Hope you're doing good. Its all been by SEO and word of mouth so far. I think traditional offline marketing could be really effective though - I did flyers for a SaaS years ago and got 13 signups the next day 🤯
@@codingoblin Thanks for the tip, I'll do SEO soon. ;-)
Thank you for this. I have little knowledge of Wordpress and this helped a lot.
No worries mate. Glad it helped 👍
The idea is brilliant...Everyone wins. It is the idea behind any commission based agency and it exists for maybe hundreds of years I "came up" with the same idea 1 year ago, but that just meant that I didn't know of many business types :) I can give you the follow up thought - what if you are doing this business or commission based agent for HIGH TICKETs - like expensive cars, real estates, trading businesses, yachts, lands, expensive courses or anything that is of a high value - above £ 20000 . And the next one (is just to stop any residual comment) - how many of those you need to make per year? I think you will do great as you have the right attitude, just your mind is not yet ready... as you still think about low price products, you don't value your time as well and you have some limiting believes... You are welcome!

@@codingoblin Its better but it can still be improved even more. Building a stronger foundation day by day sir. Continous improvement. Thats whats up sir!
Glad to hear it 🙂
"I think you probably need to have a look because you are quite cringey" 😂😂😂
I stand by this 100%
Haha 'I'm an entrepreneur'. 'Ok, what are you preneuring?' Oooh, pleborous...
I have learnt to embrace the cringe
Would you recommend looking directly into the lens or just at the screen? I've heard looking directly at the lens can 'break the wall' or something.
I think looking into the lens is best. I used to look at the screen and would get comments saying it looks a bit weird - which I agree with now looking back. What sort of videos are you going to do?
Your not cringe mate , youre just a real person, its not a mistake when you learned from it. Your currently an actual entrepreneur - its just the definition basically taking the risk to make profits and making a business and you did that , and you made your own website and system bro i hope you reach your dreams and more.
Thank mate, appreciate that 🙂
Essentially you would need to be the go-to person for that company to support the customers to build that product, so that any new customer can go via your affiliate link? You would need to know how to advertise yourself in a way, that whenever a customer wishes to purchase the product, your ad/campaign comes up so that they purchase the product through you. You've pretty much mentioned this already but it is just about getting your name associated with that product you have an affiliate link with, so you are seen as the expert in that area and can support the customer for a set period of time if they purchase through. your affiliate link. As a customer, I would prefer to buy direct from the company. So there needs to be an incentive to purchasing through you. Even if there is an incentive to do so, how would I know there is? You need to get your name out there for the product you are an affiliate with. This probably means writing blogs, doing videos, possibly making content in partnership with the company you are an affiliate with? I can't really see any issues with it, other than ensuring your time is worth the commission you receive.
I've messaged you
Thanks mate, I've replied...
I am just amused.
This is good news 👍
