I really like the new Windows App interface-it's well-designed and very appealing! However, in our large environment using only Remote Apps, we've noticed that launching them in the Remote Desktop Client is much faster and more responsive than in the new Windows App. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Neil, if I want to deploy MS Teams v2 on Nerdio do I need to do the guide from Microsoft? or should I proceed with your steps in 22:32? May I know where can I download the windows scripts on 22:48? TIA.

You know, this reminds me of the official RDP app that Microsoft published for macOS years ago. Very clean and configured similarly. I always thought it was a little goofy that macOS got a better, cleaner RDP client than Windows for the longest time.

We start to use Hydra & PSADT for all our app and plan to update those with winget 👌

Ran into an issue where the resulting session hosts would have Microsoft Teams (New) only accessible from the start menu and it was greyed out. When trying to launch it you'd get "There’s a problem with Microsoft Teams. Reinstall the application from its original install location or contact your administrator." Turns out resetting the Windows Store cache fixed this by running "wsreset.exe" in powershell/cmd. Uninstalled Teams, reset cache, and reinstalled on the desktop image. Redeploying now to see if the issue persists on new hosts, but worst case scenario I'll have a start-up script to clear the windows store cache. If you are able to install New Teams on your desktop image, but have issues on the resulting session hosts, try installing the New Teams directly on the session host using the same teamsbootstrapper.exe method and it should give you an error code to troubleshoot. Also worth noting Roaming Identities is not supported on the New Teams, not a common setting, but we use it "nmw.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/13206286676375-FSLogix-Identity-Roaming-for-Credentials-and-Tokens"

Hi Neil, First of all, loving the videos, really helpful. Quick question on the hibernation state. I see you was running a Windows 11 Multi-Session, I can understand how this would work in a single session scenario, but how would this work if you had 2, 3 or 4 users all logged into the Multi-Session VM? Lets say all 3 users disconnected, would it be at the point the last user disconnects that the machine would go into a hibernated state? I assume it would have to be : ) When 1 user reconnects, I assume the VM would then come back out of the hibernated state, but if there was 3 users disconnected when the VM went into a hibernated state, would all three users worth of memory have to be reloaded, impacting the wait time for the user who was reconnecting, or would they just need to wait for their info to be reloaded into RAM before the session was resumed? Any idea why I don't see this "Delete FSLogix profiles" option in our NMM? We even made sure to update to latest NMM, 4.4.2. Only see "File handles, Copy UNC path, and Unlink".

Hi, when you deploy multisession hosts and use winget, do you use winget to update your golden image, or do you deploy the apps with winget after the session hosts are created and do you deploy the apps with intune + winget or how do you deploy the apps with winget? Thanks

This was useful but can you elaborate when it is better to use ‘Breadth’ v ‘Depth’ for AVD deployments? Also with multisession VMs how do you decide between more smaller sized VMs for fewer sessions against larger VMs with more sessions per VM?

Question Please. I am curious how local peripherals may would such as with Teams and a webcam. If we'll have to step out of the Windows 365 to use it on a chromebook/thin client or if it will have similar abilities being redirected by the client as with printers. Second, how will deploying enterprise applications for say an ERP would work with Windows 365. Thank you in advance?
