    Hello from France ! I just discovered your vid, and I' was surching information to choose behind surge and no surge, and ... You tell me all what I need to know !! ( And I'm kind of your humor !!;-)) Thanks a lot ! So , I'll get a Surge , for sure, but it's very difficult to find it at good price, in France, so I'm looking to Amazon Us or E bay Us ( but the shipping cost ...!!) Anyway, very pleasant vids, (and I subscribe) John Christopher

    The dust collector part isnt working if you guys are wondering what the problem is, the sparks was to show the sparks arnt going where they are supposed too which is back into the bag/vacuum, depending which attachment you have on

      The clutch broke on the sander and now it spins as fast as an angle grinder. Plus it does not orbit properly. Quite terrified to touch a project with it. Side note; I love to dust collection design on it, but it feels as if the hose pulls too hard and really fatigues the hand.

    Maybe in your application you should try the m12 surge, I have both the m18 surge as well as the m12 surge. I have only used the m12 surge in a working day

    Have both as well. The surge quickly became the tool of choice. As you stated when using all day there is a noticeable hand fatigue difference. Thanks for your post it was interesting listening to a different perspective.

    This video makes the DeWalt 850 a super champion 🏆 at under 4" , no vibration, 150 ft lbs . Powerstack battery 🔋 the new 961 impact wrench has a Vtech type mode. DeWalt is just killing it. And the 3 modes will set your screws very easily

    I love my surges. The power delivery is very different and sound difference is night and day. The only negative I’ve had is out of all the Milwaukee M12 and M18 I own it’s the only one I’ve had to warranty. Once in m12 and once in m18. It would make all the noises but had no ass. Both times the same way randomly. Not after a drop or anything.

  • @IppiopaidFEEDBACK
    @IppiopaidFEEDBACK 9 месяцев назад

    I have both of them, but I really love the Surge because it’s a lot quieter and it feels a smoother. I know the other one is more powerful, but I’m really don’t need all that extra power. And if you’re doing cabinet installs, you’re better off with the M12 Surge because it’s a lot smaller and easy to manipulate. Plus, it’s pretty much just as powerful (or powerful enough for installing cabinets).

    • @burntworks
      @burntworks 9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the input! I 100% agree, the m12 would be much nicer. I currently don’t own it…yet. With a smaller form factor, and less fatigue with weight alone, it’s be a great option for someone constantly using the tool!

    We do plumbing and we love the surge, we don't need as much power to drive big nails as a carpinter only small screws to strap the pipes to the framing and the surge does a fantastic job, it doesn't bounce off the screw and it feels less jerky. We have the m18 and m12 surge

    Nice editing man, i was wondering about those that actually looks pretty decent, ive seen the ones that ppl like to mount overhead that has a rubber bumper near end of hose that you pull and it auto retracts was wondering how these more affordable ones do? Im sure better then rolling it up by hand on a cold day when youre ready to go eat and the hose is stiff lol might've been nice to have reel on right side tho, maybe. it seems to have more clearance in ur garage, and also most ppl are right-handed, although you might want dominant hand to help guide hose in what do i know

    • @burntworks
      @burntworks 9 месяцев назад

      Thanks! Yes, it gets the job done for sure. Over head retractable reels are just outside the budget for now. Mounted to be able to guide with right hand. Got sick of it lying around or tripping over it on the ground. The unit seems solid, not perfect, but gets the job done!

      It really is! Definitely not something you’d want to use installing a deck, it’d take forever compared to the non surge.

    at 4:30 why don't you get an adapter (Milwaukee to dewalt ) for your drill ?

    • @burntworks
      @burntworks 9 месяцев назад

      That’s a good thought but the DeWalt set I had was bought 10 years ago and they were the small 12v versions. I’ve really just limped them along, plus, the m-18 batteries would be completely oversized and heavy. I’m sure your suggestion would be helpful to someone reading the comments! Good thought though, I appreciate it.

    Do you need to use the whole can at once? If not, how long can we keep it if we haven't mixed in the hardener?

    • @burntworks
      @burntworks 9 месяцев назад

      You just take out as much condo as needed for your repair and add a small bit of hardener and mix separately. Seems to last a long time! I’ve never really kept one stored long enough to test. Hope this helps!
