I hate wine

I've tried every sparkling wine of different prices to make mimosas, and nothing compares to Andre Brut, which is GREAT news for my wallet. It's not the best as stand-alone sparkling wine, but it is absolutely delicious for mimosas, which I think explains why it's often out at my local grocery store (while the Andre Extra Dry and Spumante variants are always plentiful). I wish y'all woulda done the mimosa taste test :)

I don’t know what you tried but the Apothic merlot is great. The experience of the Apothic Merlot exceeds the expensive wines I have had that were $50- $100 a bottle.

I received this as a Christmas gift and just opened it. It is practically undrinkable. Smells so strong of alcohol. Waited 20 minutes. Still tasted awful. My friends are going to ask me how much I love that wine and I don’t know what to do.

2008 was simply a killer year for champagne. I was lucky enough to procure three bottles of the 2008 Dom Pérignon "Chef de Cave Legacy Edition". I shared two of them with my Niece and her friend, and cellared the third. In the last two and a half years we have also enjoyed a bottle each of the following champagnes: 2008 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, 2008 Louis Roederer Cristal Brut, 2008 Bollinger La Grande Année Brut, and 2008 Piper-Heidsieck Brut Vintage Rare, Every one of them was outstanding in it's own way, I thought that the Dom was the best, my Niece rated the Taittinger the highest, and her friend liked the Cristal the best. You can't go wrong with any of these wines, if you can find them, grab 'em up!!
