This is one of my favourite non-trad Christmas songs. It's called "Long Way Around the Sea" by Low, referring to the magi (wise men) having to change their route to get home so that Herod (the infanticidal one) couldn't learn where they'd found the kid they were looking for. I'm yet to watch Bridgerton, but this is how I'd score it. #MyBridgertonScore #spitfireaudio #bridgerton I had fun trying to walk the line between the regency and the modern sounds. Ended up using a fairly typical classical-era orchestra with an extended, more modern percussion section. Also chose to use some modal/blues tonality to bring it into the present.
