Nice session lads,nice congers 🔥🔥🔥
Tha ks for the comment. Very good session the congers where biting
Good session matey some nice conger and a nice nights weather by the looks off it. All the best for the Autumn and winter to come.
@VernsSeaFishing thanks very much vern. It's great to just get out fishing some big congers in that harbour. I'm looking forward to seeing your run of cod again this year
I was there myself for a couple of days, great sport aren’t they, what an amazing place too
@integraellie yep a fantastic spot will be there again next year again.
@@shamrockfishing6693ye me two, might stay a couple of nites so I’m not leavin Dublin at 3
That's what we done on the road for 4am and left just after lunch
@@shamrockfishing6693 I went early and stayed overnight so I was able to fish from real early while my son slept in the car!! Great place
Great vid,new subscriber keep up the good work 🎣🎣
@Shore_caster thanks very much appreciate the support
This cat is tremendous. It's like looking at me me brothers me da n lost palls . I'm going back fishing please god n I give him first bass in 20 years. God bless everybody n tr poor little heads.
Amazing spot, what river is that?
The barrow st mullens
My boys loving ur videos. Thanks for sharing
No problem, glad there enjoying them 👍
Fantastic setting .
@@greenlanes5140 it's a stunning place to fish
Great stuff. I'd say a slighty softer tipped rod might help a little with the bony mouths. Then again you're not likely to buy a rod just for a few sessions a year during the run. Not that I've ever fished for them. 😂
Yea could possible have done with a softer rod, I'll try one next year, see does it make a difference
@@shamrockfishing6693 Well... You're well able to catch them as it is! Would probably make a good soft plastics rod for Bass and Perch too.
1 or 2 spots north of ye 3 weeks ago haven't had 1 since. ruclips.net/user/shortswRwsQWGYv9g?si=iopnX7oKCK2lfZiv
What lure/bait do u use?
@johntaaffe954 when im bait fishing, I use lug,rag and peeler crab. When im spinning and plugging use soft plastic paddle tails like savage gear gravity stick and sandy andys, or rappala max rap plugs
@@shamrockfishing6693 do you use a sinker?
@johntaaffe954 when bait fishing I do yes
@@shamrockfishing6693 ok thanks
Super stuff mate. So glad i came across your channel. Im only getting back into fishing. Used to be out everyday a youngfella. My own younglad loves it. We went mackerel bashing off skerries harbour last year with good results. Been a while since ive been beach fishing though. Cheers for the tips 👍👍👍
@MicBeatz85 no problem at all, glad to hear your enjoying the channel, I've never fished Skerries harbour furtherst I've gone that direction would be donabate had some good fishing off that, any help you need give me a shout here or on Instagram you can dm me there
@shamrockfishing6693 Cheers pal, will do 👍👍👍
Great videos. Keep em coming. I’m getting back into fishing the east coast after years away from it. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the sub and comment, plenty of fish out there at the moment, great time to be getting back into it
Great session, What beach is this in Wexford

Whick one is it courtown great video
Another great video thanks for sharing . I bought a full beach set up the weekend so im looking forward to hitting the wicklow / wexford beaches this summer and learing the ropes 😊.
Ah very good, nows the time to start getting out and fishing, we must meet up and fish together
Yes that would be great id appreciate the tips 😀 thank you 😊
Give me a shout on Instagram, links on the RUclips page you can dm me there
Good man,,,wat,beach u on
Hi. Where r u fishing ? I'm from wexford town and looking for some directions
There are a lot of beaches from wexford back towards Dublin all can produce good fish. Visit the fishing shop in wexford town they can give you a few beaches locally to fish I wouldn't be sure which ones close to wexford town
what beach?
Grey stones is it??
👍
shankill🤔
tried there tonight myself no luck though.
@@stephenmcdermott5103 there's only ever dogs and small whiting on it.
great to be out again happy days .well done n the new vid .wont be long till the fishing improves
We're r ya ??.
Nice pal bass,r,,the slowest growin fish in sea put all back ,,well I do,,,,
Pair 🎣 best,,,,this time of year,,r,,,beaches??
Not a huge amount of fish at this time of year from the beaches, flats, whiting, maybe some bass, piers have a mkx of small fish but you could try for conger, I fish both piers and the beach you never know what you might catch
@@shamrockfishing6693So when is a good time to fish from the beach? recently I was in Wexford and I caught only small whiting... it was annoying, I changed the set and hooks to large ones...
Where in Wexford do you fish bc I fish In curracloe
I fish most of the wexford beach's didn't get to fish curracloe last year but I will this year
Where is the mark do you mind me asking ?
Ny videos cumin up pal?
Yep this week hopefully, haven't had much luck with recording lost loads of footage unfortunately
👍👍👍
Great vid What time of the year was this
End of January start of February when the big spurs came in last year
'promosm'
Next time you fish Arklow, would love to fish with you
Thay would be great...I'll let you know the next time I'm going to fish it
Any joy
Plenty of small whiting
Dunlaoghaire Pier, go straight to the end of the east wall side when the tide is starting to come in, fish it till high tide, there's usually 10 + people there hauling herring. Most using small, silver makrel feathers.
Is that Dunlaoghaire ?
I believe there's a policy with Irish fishermen/vloggers that they never tell you anything about marks, places, beaches just incase you might catch the last fish in the sea. UK fishermen seem to think there is more than two fish left so share the info readily. Very Stange behaviour in Ireland. Same on Facebook but you're right, it looks like Dún Laoghaire.
Yep it's dun laoighre I only started fishing for them last year. Great fun to catch and good bait..
Deadly! Where abuts in Ireland are you?
I'm in South Dublin
@@shamrockfishing6693 Ahh cool, Dún Laoghaire pier?
Brilliant, thanks for sharing. Not come across anyone catching Herring on my coast despite our heritage. Maybe people don't target them from the shore?
Maybe so I started fishing last year for them plenty of people over here fishing for them in the winter months when they come in to the harbours
@@shamrockfishing6693 Might be worth me giving it a go here in the North East Scotland - might have more luck than catching Cod 🤣🤣
I'd trade them all for a few decent cod, planning a few trips this winter for some cod fishing
How long do they hang about?
Depends on the fishing and the weather I could spend 4 or 5 hours there or could be an hour or two
@@shamrockfishing6693 Sorry I meant what is the season for them? Tks
Sorry I read your comment wrong 😂, not to sure could be in for the winter months or just hang about for a few weeks and then move off
👍
Would ya sell the ballistic?!
No I'd never sell it. Its a cracking rod
What weight was that beauty
70cm 9lb
@@shamrockfishing6693 fabulous I’m watching all your vids they are great, just love spinning for Bass
Thanks for the support, spinning for bass has to be the best way to catch them
Very good 👍
👍
Enjoy the vids on the east coast.Keep em up man....
Thanks very much appreciate the comment, editing another one at the moment
Fishing is getting harder it’s all changing I think global warming ect
Winds and tides haven't been great the last few weeks hopefully they improve and the fishing gets better
It's down to over fishing from huge commercial trawlers. Another one for global warming BS🙄
@@Mark-ou5yy get out from under that rock and look at the weather, how can you not see the weather changing with your own eyes. How old are you, not your mental age your birthday number.
@markmonaghan2309 hahaha Go back to bed son, you need more sleep! because you're talking dribble again😘
Are last casts not meant to last hours??? Ah well I've been doing it wrong for years 😂🤣😂
Yep they definitely are and have been before. I must be getting soft in my old age 😂
kilpatrick🤔
👍
nice bass bro, do ya know if britas bay is any good for bass fishing?
I've fished brittas Bay but the far end not the end where all the family's and swimmers go, I've had some bass and flounder off it always worth a try. Sorry for the late reply only seen your message now
@@shamrockfishing6693 thanks bro just in time, im at britas tomorrow hunting my 1st bass. cheers tight lines👍
Best of luck hope you catch a few
