What a great job man! Excellent!
3:34 "specs are between 0.2 and 0.8mm" -> "0.2 and that fits in the gap" 0.2mm obviously fits in the gap since it looks the gap to be more to the upper side of interval. -> "we check 0.8 .... and the gap is more than 0.8 so that ring is fine" I don't think you got it right here mate? I think that when you can stick in gauge thicker than 0.8mm that ring is out of spec? Meaning the gap is too big or the ring circumference too small. I'm not hating, just thinking out loud :) I really like these series btw, thanks for making them. 👍
I’ve been trying to look for a seat for my xs650 but none of them have to look I’m after so definitely going to give this a go
Awesome video legend, i just did my fork seals using this. One thing i can add is that the end cap is actually a perfect driver for the new seals, instead of using a punch. The end cap spreads the load over the whole seal. Hope this helps anyone coming here to do theirs
I should add, turn the cap upside down for best effect
Hi mate what’ size tank is your compressor?
120L
And is your 13 CFM FAD or Piston displacement?
@lukesancasciani FAD
Hello From America, your bike looks amazing, thank you for sharing your video, it has helped me a lot, I have the 1977 Yamaha650 in mint condition, I got it from my mother-in-law because my father-in-law passed away and he took really good care of his bike since he first bought it but your videos help me a lot with the reduction gear now My Baby is good . Hope you enjoy your bike as much as I do mine 👏👏👏👏👏🤛🤛🤛🤛🤛🤛
Thank you for video!
I wonder if the hesitation upon immediate full throttle could be rectified by advancing the timing a bit.
I don't see that you put the spring on the semering after you hammered it in before putting the safety ring.
hello! Thanks for making this video. I wanted to ask if the speedometer has been pretty accurate after the calibration that you showed, or if you have noticed it being off a bit
And I have a 4 in one Exhaust blocking the filter. Hurray! Thanks for the video Its realy helpfull!
Is there a link for the 34mm early forks
What mixture with the water and is it expensive
The 2 half rings according to the Yamaha schematic should be installed BETWEEN a flat washer and a ‘ cup- washer’ ( which will contain them in their place ) Before finally locking everything with the the circling spring lock. That way they can’t escape sideways. I think you might have installed the one half ring you have left not sandwiched between the flat washer and the cup thingy, but last just before the final circlip. It will fall out of there , tested by me in practice with 2 half rings ! 😊
Great content mate cheers 👍🛠
@krissi66x 0 seconds ago Thankyou---Manchester UK.--Got to get another bike and for financial reasons. it'll probably have carbs!!---Another early Blade zx6r or zx7r or zx9r or R1. Any suggestions ???---Chris.

The small oring go between filter cover and filter bolt, push the bolt out of the cover and here's the small o-ring.🤙

I'm definitely going to need this video, great job documenting everything!
Thanks mate. I have a much more in-depth series on engine rebuild and assembly on my channel if it helps.
Best install video for the RC 390 tail tidy yet. Once I'm on the RE's that ugly ass anchor is coming off straight away. Just recently got the 2023 GP edition great bike range.
My 97 zx11 has been sitting covered nicely in my garage for the last 17 years with only 6500 miles on it. Looking to get it running soon so these videos are Golden Thanks
Hey im curious as to the interior color on the top case half, is it coated?
What do you do to stop the nut from turning?
All people with British or Australian accents should be banned from narrating on RUclips.
I was just quoted 650 labor. Do do this job on a 2000 zx1100. Amarillo texas. I've never done this job but for that cost looks like it's all me. 14:19

Need help g.day I have a 1981 yamaha 650special...hasn't started in 20 years but after cleaning the carbs the bike started the right side cylinder got hot and the left side is running cold...been watching the your videos but for some reason I have come to a dead end with the points been trying to set the timing but all I'm getting is back fire. From the left cylinder....and the right side spark plug still looks brand new like there isn't any fuel...p.s I'm in Greece and can't find parts unless I get them from UK. Or America do you no of any dealers who can ship me parts...any help would be appreciated....
Let's crank the engine over 15 times without any engine oil in it , hopefully you don't repair motorcycles for any customers, Hack repair
I don't think I've EVER seen a motorcycle mechanic remove a drain plug with an adjustable cresent wrench....same with not using a snap ring pliers, then keep turning the engine over with the electric starter with no engine oil in it , 2 week's after putting the spring in the vise and squeezing the shit out of it it's going to break then hey , let's repair it properly with a New spring 😢 the morel is the story is don't make videos showing people how to be a Hack😢
I had a broken rocker that was banging on head right there .. I caught it in time though
Love the video rather no music
My bike runs a lot better. Set both points at the first mark on the F , it runs great and idles nice.
is this video real or generated?'
what size compresor do you use for this canbinet?
Guess you are Australia or NZ. Are there Harbor Freight stores their? Like your shop, very orderly.
My 94 is a bichhhh to start. Need the choke every time. It doesn't like to idle without the choke. I had to revv the shit out of it at red lights to keep from stalling
Need a windshield Waipa 😂😂😂 Cheers mate 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

Hello. Peter again from Canada...I have a 93 zx11....and it seems to have blown the main fuse. Brief overview...starter had a dead spot, and so I hit the starter button many times quickly to see if I could get the starter to engage...after 20 quick clicks of the starter...the complete electrical system went dead...any idea where...the main fuse is? Thanks. Cheers!
Will use this tutorial next week for my Ktm rc 125. Thanks from germany, I couldn't find any other rc vid ( only duke ones). Hope it will work out, thanks anyways ❤
