@@TangMeitei yea who cares about language. Ahom language is Indo Aryan yet they are Tai. Also they way Meitei speak is very much Tai. The culture is also very much Tai. In fact Meitei should follow Tai culture instead of following bengali culture. You must think good for the greater of Meitei society. Why don't you wanna be Tai? Seriously so stupid.
@@TangMeitei well language is quite different but ethnically Majority of Meitei are Tai. Yea like some Meitei people like you are Bengalis, but I believe I'm Tai as a Meitei😊
Meiteis are also known as Tai pong mee and Tai Lai although we speak Tibeto- Burman language like Tai Ahom of Assam speak Assamese, an Indo-european language. Tai Pong belongs to Tai branch and Mee belongs tibeto-Burman, we are a combination of these two racial groups and we adopted Tibeto-Burman language because we are surrounded by Tibeto-Burman people.When we say long long ago, we say thai na thai na means taina taina.
